The cold, from chilling in the fridge, helps the lipstick to contract juuuuust enough to be able to slide it from one container to the other. It's also a really easy way to clean candle holders, empty candle jars, etc. Just freeze them and the wax pops out.
I think they mean if those products are hers or that she’s cleaning those of her customers for money. Answering the question of OP, yes that’s her job those are her customers make-up
I was wondering about this, too. Powder-based items are usually safe to keep using (I use an alcohol spray on mine to kill bacteria), but the lipsticks can cause skin problems if they’re too old.

No, I can’t remember the post, but on Reddit there were a lot of females who didn’t like any make-up. There were also a lot of females who didn’t shave their legs. There are billions of people in the world. I don’t think any of us have one exclusive thing about us. There are women who despise make-up, women who make it their lives and then lots of in between.
