The Trial of Jesus | University of St. Thomas

On April 14, The University of St. Thomas School of Law hosted "The Trial of Jesus," featuring Professor Mark Osler of the University of St. Thomas and Jeanne Bishop, assistant public defender in the Office of the Cook County Public Defender in Illinois and adjunct professor at Northwestern School of Law in the trial advocacy program. The event was an enactment of the sentencing of Christ, in which Osler played the prosecutor arguing that Jesus should be killed and Bishop played the defense attorney. Osler and Bishop are also presenting the trial at the Church of the Holy Comforter in Richmond, Virginia.
