It sounds like Mash really wants to stick a load of customisation in there, a bit like Session, but he seems against pin droppers and things like that so maybe it will require some mods at least... One bonus is that the mod process is really easy for now, use MelonLoader, drop in a dll and you are done. If it turns to lots of versions of the game/obscure ways to mod then yeah things are gonna get shitty...
The problem with most people who don't understand the game might not even understand bmx from the start...this game is 100% playable without mods....practice Practice and think outside the box.
After 50 hours or so it's definitely playable without mods. I've earned over 200 stars without any mods installed. The first modding I've done is just installing mod maps. No other mods and it's been a blast.
Also thanks for the description on how to get into the discord area I couldn't figure it out I had to have someone tell me the thumbs up that little rules thing it's kind of very subtle thing but very important if you want to actually access anything
I hope he improves trick inputs further because i know he made the inputs feel more instant “more like pipe” mash said but for me they still feel inconsistant like im tryna do a barspin and it keeps doing a seat grab or with double handed tricks im tryna do a turndown but for some reason i get a euro or an invert and the most annoying one is when im tryna do a backflip i almost always get a grizz air with it, i figured out that its all mostly to do with doing the input for a b-hop and then almost if not at the sametime tryna do a another trick/input say for a backflip because your holding LT youll get and grizz air with the backflip, i guess mash needs to make the inputs more precise to the direction the stick is going in as well as making the inputs less sensitive. Oh and make spinning feel more free somtimes i can barley get a 360, that being said, this is all in my opinion i hope that it all made sense to whom ever reading. thanks for the great vids teku❤
I would say stick with it, when it clicks its really nice, but at the same time if it puts people off the game a mod or option in-game would be nice. A bit like Session, customisation to fit any style
Early wish that spawning would be down on the d-pad and up would bring up the pen marker like every other game that I have muscle memory built up on spawning back to back thousands of times for years and years
One advantage of the pin dropper is that it lets you set a marker on thin ledges and other weird stuff the game normally doesn't let you, so useful for crazies like me haha
I hope this game doesn't become another SkaterXL that requires 17 different mods to be playable

You can do them if you hold L2 and R2 down as ur jumping then manual when coming out of quarters. Only when ur going straight though.

Flick the left stick back and forth on the bottom of the transition. Just takes a little practice.
