Hi Carol, the fabrics look like a wonderful collection and beautifully chosen by you. The pale peach fabric should be OK as one of your light neutrals, so I think this would be worth persevering with. I am looking forward to seeing your makes. 🌸

Thank you Julie! I've decided to make the light peach/pink as pajama bottoms. It's just now getting cold in the mornings here and I find I need something warm on my legs at night when I sleep. I think the pink will make some rather sweet pajama bottoms and I want to buy another yard so I can make a matching top. My plans this weekend is to make the Islare and Carlyle knit tops to compare the patterns and to see how I like the fabric. See you our Saturday call. I've made progress on my Metra and am anxious to see yours!

The pink fabric is perfect for knickers, anti-chaff shorts and singlets.

Always enjoy seeing your podcast and what you are up to. The warm color choices are lovely, and I get great ideas from you. I am an autumn.

Thank you so much! I love autumn colors; even if they weren't my colors, I'd still like them. It's also my favorite season!

Think of the pink as a solid and use it to make another pair of joggers. The pattern is so subtle you can pair it with most of the prints.

Good idea! I've been thinking about what I could do with it. I like the idea of making another pair of joggers and I could actually wear them as pajama bottoms.

I think the pink is a very sweet print. It isn't a dramatic contrast but it's a sweet surprise when you get up close. I definitely wouldn't wear the pink print with the green joggers but it looks fine with the brown. I do think you should choose something to replace the pink for your sew down shirt because you'll already be unhappy with he shirt because of the print. I've never considered ordering several pieces from a collection but that's a great way to. build a mini-capsule wardrobe!

Hi Diane! Jane, who commented below suggested using the pink as pajama fabric. And you're right - it's a very sweet print, so I decided to make pajamas with it.

It's so hard buying fabric online sometimes. Perhaps the pink could be nighties or pyjamas. That's what I would do anyway. Your other combos look great.

Great idea, Jane. As soon as I read your suggestion the decision was made - I'm going to make pajamas with the pink jersey. I'll probably have to buy another yard to make a matching top, but maybe I have something in my stash that will work. But fantastic idea! Thanks for suggesting it!

The lack of contrast until you get close up to the pink fabric makes it "read" as a solid, not what you had in mind. I bet it would make nice nightwear, a lining for a hood in a knit jacket or even practice fabric for a pattern you're not sure about. I really like the two jerseys at the end of the video, too!

I'm 99% certain I'll use the pink fabric as pajama bottoms. Several people have suggested it just like you have and I think I would get a lot of wear from it making it worth the purchase. Thanks for watching! I truly appreciate it!

Carol, I agree with everything you said. The pink could be used as loungewear. Thanks for sharing. I like the Itch to Stitch jersey pattern. I'll be watching to see how that comes out before I purchase it.

Hi Suzanne! I like your idea of using the pink jersey knit as lounge wear. I think I'll use it for pajama bottoms and maybe but 1 more yard to make a matching top. Sorry it's taken me so long to reply. Life has been so busy lately and I found that I've bitten off more than I can chew. But I'm slowing getting my head above water. My best friend in high school was named Suzanne so I always smile when I see your comments!

Hi Linda! The thought of dying the fabric occurred to me, but I've never dyed anything before. I guess there's always a first time. Maybe I'll give it a try. Have you ever dyed fabric?

dyed lots of items and fabric but all in the washing machine using Dylon only things I was nt very pleased with were some made up items which either had stains on them or if the thread used was poly and didn't dye and I didn't like the contrast@@pollysews

    Maybe try dying the pink?

The idea of dying the pink did occur to me, but I've never dyed anything before and couldn't muster the courage to try right now. But a couple of people suggested making pajamas with the pink jersey and I love that idea. Maybe I'll try dyeing fabric next year. Have you every dyed fabric? How did it turn out and was it a pretty straight forward project?

Hi Lynn. I've never dyed fabric before but am slowly getting the courage to try. But for now I think I'll use the pink fabric to make pajama bottoms.
