Awesome sounds here!! The walking, the tearing of the grass/leaves, the chomping and chewing, etc. So simple yet quite pleasant. No narrative needed. Perfect. Thanks for posting!
I’ve watched in fascination herds of goats and goatherds in Spain and the islands in the Mediterranean. There it is common and the most natural thing in the world. I believe it evokes a folk memory in us. This is something our ancestors were doing a hundred thousand years ago. We were goatherds before and we could be goatherds again. Justin and smart people like him are ahead of the curve.
Do you mean time lapse? Doesn't really work because they browse one area, then walk a hundred yards and browse somewhere else, they never finish the entire pasture.
that's to bad. i always find it fun to watch them take something down to near nibbles. near my house when they brush clear. more goats tho and a smaller area Frederick Dunn
They are definitely social and do ram each other even in the absence of females. Wherever I am, they come running and just start grazing. So if I want something, in particular, grazed down, I just take a chair and sit near it, they browse the area while I'm there and leave when I leave. Goats are very easy livestock to manage and I highly recommend the Tennessee Fainters!
I like how he wrote the answer to every possible question a viewer could think of in the description. Very thoughtful of him.
This is somewhat very relaxing and almost therapeutic to me.
Thanks, it is relaxing just listening to goats chew stuff... I completely agree.
Those goats are surrounded by green. No wonder they look so healthy.

They're so friendly! I didn't know goats enjoyed human company. I suppose they don't fight against each other because there are no females?
