Saw them dancing in the crowd at the Mumford & Sons concert in Portland. A bunch of people went up and asked for autographs and pics, but I hadn't heard their music until that day so I didn't go up because I felt like a poser. BIGGEST REGRET OF MY LIFE. Now I'm obsessed with these girls! Their music is a gift to the world.
I became obsessed really quickly too! I saw Alana in Licorice Pizza around March, checked out Haim's music and by 6/4 I was seeing them live and loving every song!
I must admit target brought me here because it had that 80s vibe going on. This song would have been on a John Hughes soundtrack...Breakfast Club or Pretty in Pink...

I heard this song for the first time on the Target commercial too, but you don't see me stating the fact like it's some new found realization that I'll get likes for. I remember hearing them first on an internet indie rock playlist back in 2010 and loved them so much... they're just now starting to get notoriety and people think Target was the first time they've been heard by the public. I wish people would stop consuming their music strictly from mass media.
