My family and I went up Mt. Nyangani and had to temporarily sit out misty clouds that had descended fast enveloped us and the national parks guide. We resumed climbing after the clouds had lifted again. The view is worth the climb. The springs of the the rivers on the mountain are very strange in how unremarkable they are ( you literally hop across the beginning of major river sources, effortlessly) at first sight, but the feeling of something tremendous around you, is ever present. As a Christian, I was in awe of how God creates strange places that seem to have deeper meaning and purpose to them. Imagine " doró" ( wetland associated with a river spring ) on top of the mountain ( not in the valley) . The word, " gate valve" kept popping in my head. A five herd of strange large antelope kept a gaze on us, all the time. We couldn't reach the highest point , some distance away, as we were running out of time to be safely on the mountain. Have to be down before noon. 2 days later, met with the mother of the lost children, but the topic was not discussed as we were on other business. Incredible woman, sad she lost her children that way. Then read a story of a foreign tourist who spent the night on the mountain. I would climb again, but need to train first, as some areas you climb 45degree inclines. Life is too short for fear to delay achievement.
You did really good Amanda. My husband is Shona from Zim & often tells me stories like this. It's so fascinating but scary at the same time because we have the same spirits, weird things happen here in the states. There's so much about our world yet the elders remind us of the respect we must have for the nature spirits. Thank you for sharing. Can't wait to return to Zim in (2) weeks.
There are hundreds of stories from around the World of mysterious disappearances. Some people are never found, some are found dead, and some are found alive but seemingly unaware that they have actually been missing. Something strange is happening and has been happening for a very long time.
During Shona class, I've heard of stories where the tribal leaders and elders have performed rituals to retrieve lost people and when they have been found those people have had absolutely no idea that they were missing for so long. They think that they've only been gone for a few minutes or so. Would love to hear some stories about the Chinhoyi caves too!
You actually right I come from Mt Darwin, not far from Mavhuradonha Mt Range, so they say the ansestor of the Shona Dzivaguru was buried in the mountains and back in the days they would perform sacred rituals to receive rain. Dziva means pool, and guru means large or big. You can relate that the name is related to powerful marine spirits. I am Christian but I can relate to these stories. Zimbabwe is indeed a very spiritual country, take it for granted then it would be your ruin
I think it was on the foothills of this mountain where the Zulu Shaman Credo Mutwa was abducted too. His story is incredible and could possibly shine some light on what's happening to these people that are going missing.
Can you do one on all the mysteries mountains of zimbabwe 🇿🇼 like the mountains that people used to go and ask for rain in e stuff esinjalo thank you for this our first UA-cam you done Zimbabwe proud
These videos stress me out ! And yet I keep watching 😥 side note on a school trip we once saw a rock that we genuinely thought was an old lady, the closer we got she changed into a rock... no one even laughed. We drove in silence 😂
New subscribers from Guyana, South America. Got a link to your video from the top mysteries feed. Great and informative video. Check the Missing 411 by David Pallidies. Similar disappearances happen in similar mountains, around the world.
Incredibly fascinating to say the least. If you or anyone else are interested you should look into 'mountain theology'.A lot of the ancient works talk about beings from the heaven that descended upon mountains or reside directly above them.If These beings still reside on or above these mountains, then it would make perfect sense why people are disappearing without a trace. These beings clearly aren't benovelent though or maybe its something much deeper.nevertheless, thanks for sharing this queen, peace.
Perhaps hidden cliffs or caves hidden by trees. Two young sisters born in the UK disappeared back in the 80s leaving their dad and mom utterly devastated.
Yes very true its one of the sacred places we are blessed with as a nation. God's creation at its best. In every place here are boundaries and laws to be adhered to, if you respect the laws of the land you have no problem, but if you think you know it best, hmmm you are doomed.
Sacred places don't want blood so you don't hunt you don't go when you are on your periods.... even kunzizi there are some kusingatonocherwe mvura if you got period
@@sophiapin1828 I agree! I made the mistake and got in trouble with the spirits but got saved by an dog. The dog left the owner and run to help me. The dog owner arrived the place later and was very confused. We left togheter the little mountain safley. I learned my lesson.
Presenter seems to have an idea of what she is talking about but appears lost in her presentation. Some factual and some hearsay. A bit of deeper research for presentation could have been alright. Other than that it was fairly alalrig. Grew up in Nyanga and other than the minister's children, there are lots of other stories and many disappearances. Bad thing is no one has chronicled all these disappearances
as well as trees with human organs eg. breasts, penis and vagina. It is believed any reactino to these either than just ignoring and pretending you havent seen them may result in untold consequences.
What is this woman talking about some places are scared u cant even say certain words . Now read the book of joshua from c1 to c3 the talk of the scared ground

Hmmmm so one should just avoid that place completely right ?
Deliverance is needed...
Anything rational... I'd say magnatic fields around the mountain.. Also allowing creation of portals to the spiritual realm.
Wow my kinda story..yessss

💀even after hearing all this I’m still a skeptic
just because you don’t believe it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist ...
