and no soldering! i just got mine last night and prior to getting it in the post, i broke out the soldering iron kit and to my surprise it was solder free!
I have the Macropad setup with the hotkeys project code. I want to be able to disable the usb mass storage device if no button is pressed on boot, but am unable to find the boot.py file? Where should it be located?
Is there a bluetooth rechargable option, preferably longlife? My USB slots full of necessary peripherals and it would be nice to operate from the comfort of my chair without an extremely long cable trailing across the floor.
Can i set one key to enter multiple commands? Example, one key will type login, become root, enter multiple commands and then log out I need to bulk set up devices
Hey ho! Is there a way to use the macropad to direct files to specific folders (on the hard drive or on google drive) when saving from the web? i.e. for arduino related pdf files right click, save us and then press the top left key on the macropad to define a path to save it in a specific folder. For a processing pdf a different key etc.
I wanted to make a cool macropad for when I was gaming, and behold! Adafruit never disappoints!

You could make and mod it yourself, if your looking for an actual macro pad you don't want to tinker with them you're in the wrong place

Or on macOS, Cmd-Shift-G, then type out a path
Can you use this as a windows Marco keyboard without python?
You only have to program it once, after that any device you plug into sees it as a normal keyboard device.
Honestly, though, you don't need to install python on the host computer, you just edit the py file that lives in the board.
is there any way to make this wireless?
This is amazing! :)
