Wow just seeing this out of the box ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxQr1yd4Zc6qJF-scTB6Zb9dQbVpviuRxB recommend I have yet to fish with this set up, but based on the first hands on appeal, I can tell this is going to change the way i pack and carry to a whole new level. If you fish like i do, you know the smaller and less stuff the better. I’ve added a photo of just some of my gear so you can see how serious i am about fishing.
This is one of the better episodes you have done bro , it’s different & definitely bloody cool to do off a beach with a Drone , congratulations & very well done...👌🤙 🐟

Build a House right there and I will buy it and will retired with fresh fish. I'll be happy until I die there, then throw my dead body back to feed other fish. LOL :)
If you're wanting a good drone for fishing you could buy a purpose build fishing drone. I own the Mavic 2 buy wouldn't recommend it because the payload is only 700g. The earlier dJI drones phantoms have a heavier payload and they are cheaper so if it goes into the drink you won't be spewing (as much)
Halen's Outdoor Adventures you can catch bull sharks there heaps of bream and flathead and jewfish there the main fish. Bait is probably the best thing to use
It's a DJI Mavic Pro drone, not sure on the device, it may be a "Ganet" release mechanism, there is an Aussie designed unit too called a "Sky Rigger" - both work great!

I can’t beleive you just spent 10 minutes replying to this comment. Exactly when did I say Melbourne’s snapper fishery is better than Perth’s? Nowhere. I commented on the fish he caught not the fishery. That fish is small in comparison to what’s being caught literally under the Westgate.

Is there another way to tie the fishing line/braid to the drone? I don’t like the loop as the knot seems like it’d be a weak point?
