I was stumped until I watched this! Thanks!

Not sure if you've filled the rear tires with liquid ballast yet...but it's a major stabilizer...I have the same model tractor and it can be less than stable in specific situations. But with ballast on the three point and rear tires filled I have not had more than a couple such experiences, always clearly my operational errors when reviewed. I'm operating on land with more grade too and moving at reasonably slow and deliberate pace, thinking about each movement of the equipment makes for much more stable operation. I've learned a lot in my first 200 hours in the seat. Keeping a healthy respect for the possible dangers I can cause by not thinking things through is always at the forefront when operating the tractor. Be well and enjoy your time in the seat, thank you for passing along your experiences.

We actually tipped and totaled the LX2610 last month. There's a video about what happened if you want to see.

Wow... it looked like you were close to a bad situation when grappling that large stump out of that hole. Looked like that rear left tire was off the ground about 18" or better!!?? You had to feel that one! Thanks for the post.

It was a little scary for a minute. That is when I instantly knew a rear ballast box was being purchased that day!

New subscriber here I just ordered the same stump bucket from Amazon. It is going to be on a Kubota B2601. I can’t wait to make a video on it. Thanks for sharing. Was a little worried because of bad reviews but prices are pretty high out there and don’t want something to heavy. Looks like I should be fine after seeing it in action 😁👍

Thank you so much for watching and subscribing! We're in the process of editing a VLOG right now where we pulled out another several stumps. After getting some more experience (and a ballast box!) it is a lot faster. One of the largest stumps on our property took an hour and fifteen minutes to dig out. I don't think there's a better way to remove stumps anywhere near price point with a similar sized machine. No regrets here with the purchase!

I realize it is kind of off topic but does anybody know a good site to stream newly released series online?

Psst. John Deere suitcase weights work real well on the top supports of your box blade for a little extra weight. I think Kubota has a similar weight that might hang on there too.
A lesson I learned the hard way, is that trying to lift with your hydraulics while trying to push with your transmission is a real good way to pop a hydraulic line.

We have a ballast box now that works much better than we expected. Definitely worth the $200!

My recommendation would be to spend the few hundred extra bucks and get the stump bucket with grapple. Well worth it.

In a few days we're spending a few thousand to rent a mini excavator and skid steer to make it go by even faster.

    Rent an excavator

This stump bucket was cheaper than renting an excavator for the few stumps we needed removed with the time constraints we had at the time. We will certainly rent one this fall to remove many more stumps on our property.

Waste of money and time. I'm pretty sure that bucket was designed for Christmas tree farms where they need to remove lots of VERY SMALL stumps every year. It would be perfect for that. Anything larger, you're far better off renting a stump grinder or a mini excavator with thumb attachment.

The grinder would take just as long and still leave the roots in the ground. Renting a mini excavator would do a better job, but it would cost more to rent it for two days than the cost of the stump bucket.

We bought tractors to use, not to rent other equipment.

He’s probably never rented a mini ex in his life, yet tells others what they need to do. 🤦🏻‍♂️
