This quote is from an authenticated traditional utterances (Hadiths) of Prophet Mohammad. They are prophecies from Prophet Muhammad Himself about the spiritual degradation what will, in time, befall Islam at the hands of its self-appointed religious leaders:-
“A day shall be witnessed by My people whereon there will have remained of Islám naught but a name, and of the Qur’án naught but a mere appearance. The doctors of that age shall be the most evil the world hath ever seen. Mischief hath proceeded from them, and on them will it recoil.” And, again: “At that hour His malediction shall descend upon you, and your curse shall afflict you, and your religion shall remain an empty word on your tongues. And when these signs appear amongst you, anticipate the day when the red-hot wind will have swept over you, or the day when ye will have been disfigured, or when stones will have rained upon you.”
Brother, it's a good post. But I lived in the US for 14 years. I used to deliver to Halal shops. the majority of the halal shops would lie and cheat. So what have become of US. We have become greedy and love Duniya. Only a child thinks a toy is for real, fooled by it. We talk all the talk, but when it's comes to walk Islam, dear, not even 2 per cent follow.
You dont think some hala shop, or some muslim has never lied before? Or cheated someone?.... Its a very simple concept called "we are all motivated by our self interest"... Given that how do we control that? Laws & checks and balances. If you compare the corruption (lying, cheating) in muslim countries vs. USA, its next to none here, due to strong judicial system.
Also, food for thoughts, has there ever been a time in human history when the whole world was honest? Even during times of prophets? With miracles in front of them? Why would that change now?

It’s easy to become pessimistic, just saying there are good people and bad people, I’ve seen good Muslims give shelter and food to none believers, I’ve seen the youth work for a better future, I’ve seen the good side of Muslims. Honestly, I’ve seen the 99 percent of none Muslims, the hypocrisy, the pure livid bullshit they spew, and with that said I’d rather live around Muslims than none.

Their prophecies, if anyone of them is false then either their word has not been preserved which cannot be the final religion ( as God would of saw fit to preserve the final religion for the last of humanity) or he is not a prophet.
