Great review man! in my shows most of my props are made of wood and brass , it’s my style and like elegance in my magic. That been said , for a casual setting I love that these props look cheap , something I could’ve bought at my local Walmart or Home Depot, makes them inconspicuous, once again IMO.
Glad you like the review. I agree with you. As I say in the review, the props don’t work for me but for other people they might be perfect. It’s a cool modernisation of the spirit slate effect. I just hope they make a more classy wooden version.
A fair review overall. I do disagree with one of your final thought issues, where you suggest a 'luxury version' be produced. My understanding (and I may be wrong) is that this was designed to be an EDC, an every day object with magic properties. Personally I don't know anyone who carries wooden name tags. Most name tags I know of are either leather or look very much like these TCC ones, so my view (and it is purely my personal opinion) is that a luxury wooden one would appear more suspicious whereas something that looks like a very ordinary 'cheap and cheerful' tag arouses no suspicion whatsoever.
As I say, the tags that come with it might be fine for some people and for those people I say go ahead as it’s a nice effect. I just personally would never carry tags like the ones in the package.

And that’s why I say it doesn’t work for me but it might be perfect for other people.
This is definitely poor and the quality is not great waist of money Too Avoid this one 🪄🪄
