you forgot to mention that he never answered the question, instead he just blabbers until everyone has forgotten the question and can only remember what he (trump) said
You're absolutely right.
Trump's "answer" was just "We've been having problems recently, and that may or not be Muslims. I know that it's Muslims because the people who think like me think I'm right."
He somehow managed to both dodge a question and use circular reasoning to "support" the nothing he replied with.
my thoughts exactly 👍👏
Not answering the question directly is what ever politician does...
+Noor Aly (Beastlyarab) Pretty much, politicians' handbook says that they should never answer a question clearly because they could then be held accountable for it if they win office.
+Sergey Asimov
I'm not even sure if Trump knows what he's talking about since the question was "Isn't it un-American and wrong to discriminate against people based on their religion?" Either Trump is a complete idiot who talks without thinking, or he's straight-up admitting he's for discriminating against people based on their religion even though he knows it's un-American and wrong.
if I had a dime for every time he said “tremendous” I wouldn’t know what to do with that tremendous amount of money
In this speech, I think you'd have like three dimes 🙂
@@joshuabarbosa4824 3000 would be closer, it's his favourite word.

Being easily understood is critical to become a successful entrepreneur.
He didnt answer the questions, he tell a story instead.
Freedom Justice Sometimes questions can’t be given a simple answer where detail is necessary to make sense.
If you understand even a little portion of psychology, that is EXACTLY what you do.... It makes the point he's trying to make relatable to the average person. Psychology 101. Stay welln my friend 💞🇺🇸💞
You already know his answer though, he’s providing context and justification to the answer which is pretty clear, after he signed The Bill or law.
It is well known that telling a stories that best way to convince a person. This is a strategy.
@@someguy4096 A strategy not solely used for deceptive purposes. Sometimes it is necessary to expand on an answer, especially when a question asked cannot be answered simply and requires further detail in explanation.

@@littleghostfilms3012 Argh! Thank you! Thank you! You certainly do win the prize for describing Trump's modus operandi in one sentence. I am an Aussie and fortunately we have not had to endure the continuous current of slop spewing from Trump's trough until this year. The contradictory, unsubstantiated statements he keeps making have been televised here frequently. While he has been the source of mirth and mockery for most of us, his bullying tweets are also extremely dangerous. I have been viewing videos here to try to decipher how the bloody hell such an inarticulate cretin could persuade people to vote for him. This video gives a comprehensive analysis of his overall limited ability across the board. He is a liability. Good luck in November!
@@eddykate6626 Thank you in return. In the US we unfortunately have a minority of knuckle draggers who don't care about facts, logic, history, or rational discussion. Our school system has never taught the full picture of our own history, which is the genocide of Native Americans and the reality of slavery. And in the last 30 years many schools have dropped courses in art, literature, humanities, so people are leaving school with an inadequate well rounded sense of the world. And Capitalism teaches us to be consumers of stuff. Trump sells people stuff, or the 'idea' of stuff. His lifetime of cons and frauds have made him skilled at listening to people and giving them back a sales pitch that will make them part with their money, or vote. His dad taught him this and Trump took it further. He echos the angry mob mentality he hears in the US and blasts it back to the racists and haters who are afraid of social progress, because they fear losing status to blacks, women, gays, hispanics, etc.. Sometimes the scariest leaders are also comical. Mussolini, Idi Amin, Khadafi, were buffoonish but also evil. Trump is in that category even though he hasn't killed anyone...yet.
@@littleghostfilms3012 I have learnt so much about American History, political affiliations and conspiracy theories since the start of this pandemic (and about the inequalities and dark pages of Australia's past as well.) When my daughter was 10 years old she began donating all of her allowance to charity every month. She told me, "Mum, every drop of rain raises the sea...I can make a difference." And that is why I watch all these videos, quote facts and words of inspiration in the hope that I too can make a difference; that perhaps just one person will stop listening to the rhetoric and question his own ideology. "Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance...And I believe that in this generation those with the courage to enter the moral conflict will find themselves with companions in every corner of the globe." (Edward Kennedy.) timothy mitchell, please keep trying to enlighten "them" and show "them" that they do have the power and the ability to fact check and to question the dribble they are being fed. I find this whole name calling hatred thing perplexing. I don't know who my husband votes for, and I don't care. Funnily enough, I actually like him for so many other reasons. As my hubby would say, "Hooroo." (goodbye)
@@littleghostfilms3012 So brainwashed! Trump is American! Flaws and all! He supports people taking care of themselves. Republican! Very few of the angry mobs are his supporters.
This is an interesting analysis. Notice he never really directly addresses the question. I'm not voting for Trump - but I'm taking him very seriously as a candidate. He is a master salesman, very smooth talking, very persuasive. Ignore him at your peril. Everyone who is concerned about the prospect of a Trump in the White House had better GET OUT AND VOTE this November.
you should be more worried about hillary clinton
Don't worry, Clinton WILL win. The Establishment hasn't lost since Andrew Jackson. She has this one in the bag.
+Andrew Parke (苑小安) yes Hillary will win to continue to use the America destroying agenda Obama started
JeepDan777 Hey, I'm not making judgements, I'm just telling everyone what WILL happen, for better or for worse. Democrats know it, Republicans know it, everyone knows it, so you'd better learn to live with it like the rest of us.
This isn't unique to Trump what so ever. Politicians ramble all the time with out ever addressing the question.
The only thing I gathered from this very well done video is that anyone who would vote for Trump probably didn't pass the 4th grade.
What an utterly disgraceful, unoriginal, and pathetic attempt to criticize those voting for Trump.

It's actually terrifying, knowing that he is likely to be our next president

let it happen, if Trump ends up holding the presidency, I'm sure it won't be long until the country goes through turmoil. All the support he has right now will realize how ridiculous voting for him is. OH WELL?!21! Trump 2016?! A president with a 4th grade reading level?! yea ok
+Axel Galeas That 4th grade reading level has done him well

Correct, but not as many accents as Obummer.
A credibly crafted analysis of Trumps language. Well done. With that said, you state that Trump is not smart, but Einstein said 'genius is the ability to take the complex and make it simple.' George Orwell in his 5 rules for effective writing states; 'never use a long word where a shorter one will do.'
Summarily, I don't agree that Trumps language indicates he is not smart. Furthermore, I believe it is not so much use of language which should determine whether a candidate is good or bad, but rather ideas, problem solving skills and effective implementation of strategies.
+Billy Bill or... he just doesn't know how to speak past the 4th grade level? ever thought of that perhaps?
+Billy Bill Look at what he is saying though. He has got no real point across at all. He just repeats the same stuff over and over.
Exactly! Trump has no real ideas how to right the ship, nothing to implement, he is nothing more than a smoke and mirrors Richy Rich. And he's laughing all the way to the bank. Big deal,...money doesn't buy class, character, or intelligence.
+Tristan Banks I think Trump makes more 'real points' than any other political runner, or more accurately, has genuine intent to pursue the points he makes. Politicians in there nature try answer questions as diplomatically as possible. Trump seems to care a lot less about how he phrases himself and more about the points he is making. Finally i will say, anybody who thinks Trump is unintelligent is clearly an idiot. There is only about 1500 billionaires in the world and he is one of them. Anyone with even the most remote amount of success in life knows how hard it is to make large amounts of money and often, equally difficult to maintain it.
+Ben Gibson I agree Trump probably can't speak past a 4th grade level. Regardless, my point is that Trumps 4th grade language doesn't indicate he is not smart; especially when taken in conjunction with other factors such as his business success, best selling book, tv series etc.
This man is a genious. Nerdwriter i mean.

Trump's IQ apparently is well above 150. He's smarter than 99.999% of the people walking this earth. The fact that he speaks with simplicity/honesty to the American public is pure genius. Especially the latter (honesty).
Yes we've heard him tell us that repeatedly
+Ozu Woodroffe it is not him b*********** us. It is a fact. Look it up.
+Awakened Mind He certainly doesn't show any of that supposed intelligence. He's a bully that talks like he's a thug. He constantly feeds us misinformation and flat out lies. He's literally known as the liar of the year. That does not sound like an intelligent person to me.
IQ is not reliable source for intelligence. This has been proved many times. Little kids have got phenomenal and outstanding scores on the IQ but still haven't skipped any grades or got extremely good grades, while I know people who got a ok score on the IQ, but still do math 3 years ahead their grade level.
+Awakened Mind Graduating from university of Pennsylvania does not make one a genius
He has the best words. All three hundred or so. Why learn more? That would eat up valuable rage-tweeting time.
Also, he implicates the interviewer and the listener by saying: "You know it, I know it. Everybody knows it". When he says this he incriminates the listener to validate his argument.
I wish I could ask him: "how do you know that I know". Maybe I don't.

Ignoring politics, this was a really interesting and well made video.
@Anton Antonson Well... looking at the nombers from the OECD crime is not really slowing, it is stagnating but aggravated assaults and shootings have risen. And for the economy it was already rising since 2016, sooo props to Obama too I guess ? Or maybe is it just conjuonctural and we'll have to wait a few years to judge Trumps actions on the economy, either positive or negative.
I also should point out that I'm not even American myself, so I don't really care about Donkeys or Elephants. I'm just a businessman myself and I must admit, though he manages to be rather convincing of what he's selling (only talking about technics and tactics here), his lack of comprehension of most subjects transpires when he speaks. So I guess he would do great in BtoC sales (basically what he has done with TV reality shows and politics) but oh how terrible in BtoB (which you could relate to his several businesses failures and sadly to international diplomacy, where I have to say everyone makes fun of him and America is going quite backwards as far as world influence is concerned).
And H I L A R I O U S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahahaha
@Anton Antonson Foxnews ain't really an unbiaised source and this article does not provide any relevant checkable number. Also I would like to know in which deal Trump got better results than Obama (not criticizing, authentic question here !). You have any example ?
@Anton Antonson I can't speak for the others (not watching them) but at least the BBC never denied the existence of a caravan. It was however (understandably) much more concerned with the Brexit deal than with a migrants story from one ocean away.
And I won't deny that CNN or other medias (such as HBO for instance) are very partial in the way they present and analyze events (we have the same problem here in France). However Fox News still is quite known for getting many things quite wrong and for having a strong political agenda. It is not necessarily wrong in itself, but it still a biais we must be aware of when watching it. So to come back on the subject whatever Democrats-friendly medias may have said, I was to consider Trump's administration's effects so far mainly looking at numbers from un-biaised sources, usually statistical institutes such as the OECD. And to repeat what I've said, I did not find significant numbers for the crime rate (niether positive or negative), and I do find it is too soon to judge the guy's economical efficiency after only two years. So far it is difficult to charge the numbers on either his or Obama's responsibility, or even simply world economy conjoncture.
All I'm saying is : let's not be quick in judgement (either positive or negative) at least for the economy : we'll see the results in two to five years, and then we'll know
the whole point of this video is undermining Trump's message. Nerdwriter is one of the biggest asshole I've seen. Yeah.
He's an expert in words. It's tremendous. Nobody knows words like he does.

Also watch "Charisma on Demand," where they break down Trump. That's the first time I realized how effective of a speaker he is.
His speech reflects his mind: very jumbled, incoherent, defensive, shrill, inarticulate, dumb.
You forgot witty and quick thinking. Still going to be epic watching him tear Biden to shreds at the debates. Say what you will, but the era of well spoken, non-acting "politicians" is over.

No President Trump didn't say anything wrong though.
Why in the world would we allow Muslims to be in this country. This is not a Muslim country this is actually a Christian Nation a Christian country founded on Christian values. Why would we allow Muslims to live in this country when they have come over here and killed us and cause harm to the United States citizens. So President Trump didn't say anything wrong what he said was basically no they shouldn't be over here doesn't matter what their religion is they don't need to be over here because it's not a Muslim country. What's wrong with him saying that
@David Wang his comment is the way trump structures sentences

Donald is proud at how long he can talk and how little he actually says of any substance. The Art of the Con
Ok but that’s honestly really smart to use an elementary school reading level in your answers/speeches. Not only is America’s average reading level around 7th grade, you prolly wanna speak to the youth more since they’re 1. Easily persuaded compared to adults, and 2. Gonna be in charge of the future.

Trump doesn't seem to be able to talk without using too many superlatives; overuse of which diminishes your message. As my grandmother would say: too much icing spoils the cake, unless you're under nine years old.

Hmmm maybe the simplicity of how he speaks is why "simple people" vote for him?
If u think only "simple people" vote for him you are dead wrong. Do you think Apple designs its product in a simple way, bcs all their customers are simple? Trump can put really difficult topics into simple sentances. So people who are as you say "simple" immedietly catch up, and people who arent "simple" try to look what he means by that.
Then u have pseudo smart people saying "he is just stupid and he doesnt know what he talks about". Those are the stupidest people, cuz unlike "simple people" they have potential to actually think about topics, yet they choose to just say "he is stupid" and then ignore what he tries to say.
@@wow-hs5by I don't think only 'simple' people voted for him. I think simple and ignorant people voted for him.

Over 9 million jobs have been created since Obama took office and our unemployment rate is currently below it's historic mean. Sounds like he did a fairly decent job to me. Moreover, he inherited the worst economy since the Great Depression and two wars from his predecessors. Did you really think with a burden like that the recovery was going to happen overnight? Lastly, our recovery has been stronger and brisker than our European peers.

That's the real beauty of trump's speech.
He'll talk about the problem endlessly but will never get around to talking about a solution.
you know what it is- and if you print it and its received badly then its fake news. but he does not identify the issue(s)- he doesn't know! But he still stands for you and your issues- your lead to believe, but does he really?
Did you follow? He offered a solution. no?? He said The problem is certain people bring hatred and crime to the county. Just like Paris. His Solution is to not issue visa to them. Of course we can argue about this solution. But if you mean a perfect solution I don’t think it exists.
It's so sad how people can be so so stupid.
You mean, Hillary's supports ?
No, I mean many people, Americans.
Ah yes, the "stupid Americans" comment. My favorite of the go to insults so often cast out from those living outside the US, as they seemingly forget that the states are home to millions of folks that have migrated from their "intellectually superior" homelands. Ironically, Charlotus, based on that rather prejudiced jab, I'd say you actually have more in common with "The Donald" then you realize. But hey, what do I know, I'm just another dim witted American.
President Trump
Beautiful response omg haha
It's really frustrating listening to him rattle off nothing but filler words. Then he often repeats himself verbatim.
He repeatedly and blatantly lies to familiarize his audience with concepts that have no basis in reality, then he deals in feelings, which he seeds himself, with no factual basis.
I entirely agree with this video: trump is a salesman who knows ONLY his audience. I've never heard him say anything more informed than buzzwords. I am entirely certain he knows nothing about the extremely important, critical, and nuanced issues our country faces. He is always right there to promise he'll make imaginary, misdirected, or exaggerated issues better, but he'll NEVER tell you what the issue actually is or how he'll fix it.
We can't fix this country's problems with a 4th grader's lego blocks. When the Donald says there is a problem, go look it up for the full story. Spend a little effort, and you'll see nothing is as simple as he makes it out to be.
Consider this truism: you must first understand a system - it's goals, constraints, and implementation - before you stand a chance of rebuilding a better one. This is how we get cyclic history people.
Isn't it ironic how the most well constructed comment on this entire thread (yours) is also one of the most ignored for the reasons precisely outlined in the video you're commenting on? But I bet if you made a simple one sentence long instult to Trump or Hillary you would get more likes on this comment, as a matter of fact, look at the highest rated comments above. What do they all have in common? At least two things. Insults and small words that get to the point. In other words, the proof is in the fucking pudding. But do you blame Trump supporters, Trump himself or primitive nature and people who refuse to rise above their instincts?
He had a whole paragraph of words, about getting down to the problem,
But he never said the fucking problem.

+Cosmik Debris this isn't about brainwashing, it's to show how Trump manages to be so popular. The art of 'Retorica' is a subtle way to win the hearts of people. Politicians have been using it for more than three thousand years: Cicero, etc. It's als the reason Hitler was so popular, he knew what the people wanted to hear and how they should hear it. So it is quite interesting.
