This movie is great. I probably quote a line from it in conversation at least once a week.

Commando is a perfect movie. Maybe the most entertaining film ever made.

I never said this was the best 80s action movie.
But it is definitely the best 80s action movie.
    It’s so fucking well made.
Never a dull moment, yet is never staccato, breathless or confusing.
And the one liners! de Souza was on fire here.

Anytime you think that life has become a worthless mess go back to the 80's and immerse yourself in 80's movies and 80's music. You will come out stronger and happier and ready to kick ass.

Any film you can quote from decades later is a great film.

Bob Yerkes, the stuntman who doubled Arnie for the big swing across the shopping mall, also doubled Cybil Shepard when she was hanging off the building in Moonlighting.

I distinctly remember the moment, while watching this in a theater on opening night, that, when Arnold jumps from the wheel of a jet airliner, lands in a swamp, and get up running as if it was nothing, that it was time to shut my brain off.
SOOO much fun, and gun/military porn!

I watched it today on HBO and it seemed to me, in my dotage, there were scenes not in the original. Is there a new cut out now? Anyway, I enjoyed it and Chong is really cute. She had some good lines too.

Yes, a very 1980s action flick. This movie and "Cobra" with Sly Stallone should be housed in a golden shrine of testosterone .

DIE HARD was originally conceived as a sequel to COMMANDO, but Arnie passed on it.
"What did you do with him?" "I let him go."

I want a sequel where they return home from some woke rally on their bikes and Clint Eastwood runs them over with an old pickup. They lie in pain on the street for half an hour and then die while being ignored by everyone the entire time. The End.
