I recently inherited a serger that I am trying to teach myself how to use and am thinking about making this dress for my daughter. Could you clarify which steps would be best done with a serger vs a sewing machine?

Do I need to print ALL 77 pages? I needed only size 12 to print. I did not find the "layers"
Could you just cut another bodice put if you wanted to make one fully lined?
I can't seem to find the Layers option to select necessary pieces - doesn't show up on my pdf download - suggestions?
Only some PDF readers will show layers. For example, Adobe Reader can show layers on most computers. (But on my Chromebook, even Adobe will not show the layers.)

i know this is an older video but i noticed you’re using the same rotary cutter as i do. i’ve been having a weird issue & google hasn’t been helpful lol. for some reason, my cutter is skipping & cutting like crap on knit fabrics in particular. i assumed it was just the blade getting dull so i changed it & it didn’t improve. do you know if knit fabrics wear the blade out at a ridiculously fast speed? i used my blade only a couple weeks, but the new one only a day before it went to crap lol

It won't print all 44 pages it sais it's corrupted 😔
Just tried to print pattern off, done page one to check the 1in was correct, which it was but printed the rest of the pattern only to fine some of the size don’t line up 😱😱can anyone help pleases.

I still don’t understand the regular neckband and sleeveless armbands 🫠 guess I’ll call it a night and see if there’s a pattern out there that actually shows what the heck they are talking about. You’d think for $12 it would have been demonstrated
