Viserys Targaryen is one of my favorite character from House of the Dragon Season 1. His overall role is perfect but no matter how many times I re-watch episode 8....I get emotional each and every time. Paddy Considine has done such a wonderful and amazing work for the role of Viserys Targaryen. Thank you.

Viserys the peaceful was a great character, despite his ill health he reminded me that Targaryens weren’t all mad, violent, power hungry

In the history of westeros only 9 Targaryen Kings were mad, idk about Maegor though since people can be good or evil.

That poor man... he went through hell. He kept peace, but at the same time he put the seeds of war unknowningly.
This is the tragedy of Viserys, who lived under the shadow of more "great" and remarkable kings as Aegon I and Jaehaerys. And yet, for what he was able to, he mantained the stability of the realm.

Viserys Targaryen reminds me of Ned Stark. Both extremely loyal to their duty.

I thought he was the best person in the show. Such a lovely man. Had the most justified morals. It was sad to see him in a weakened state later on. Must have been in so much physical pain. R.I.P. Viserys Targeryen, legend and protector of the realm. Thank you for everything.

A good man, a decent king, a failed father. He tried, and he was a beautifully complex character. And with his death, the war will begin.

He wanted peace not war but he didn’t see war between the family.
We never remember anyone as they knew themselves
HE was a good king however like Ned stark he was so naive !
He treated his brother badly while he trusted the hightowers in his court whispering poison in his ears.
They never wanted Viserys and Daemond to work together because they would have fought anything in their ways.
Viserys deserved better and so did Daemond and both of them ended up regretting being distant from each other
