Hey! To explain what happened at 3:35 : FOR SOME REASON, all cars have weird collision on their back end, where running into their back segment at a certain angle deals an absurd amount of damage. You could set your health to something INSANELY high and run into a car’s back end, and you can just SEE the damage it deals. It’s Bethesda Jank
And the reason why it does damage in the first place is due to death claws being able to throw cars to deal damage. (At least thats my suspicion as to why they have a hurt box)
@nattymodding you running into it without knowing about it makes for great content anyways made me laugh to see you confused not often people run into that particular glitch when op
Why the minigun was useless: damage for ballistic weapons is divided by the number of projectiles. Normally, Two-Shot doubles the weapon damage to compensate, but it seems that you only changed the number of projectiles fired with out acounting for the division of damage, so each minigun round, instead of doing 5 damage, was doing 0.005 damage.
two shot doesn't double your damage, it add base damage of your weapon, so if you had .308 combat rifle, it still only give you 33 extra damage instead 57, that why the legendary effect is much more powerful in gun with high base damage.
@@epickid4268 It wouldn't matter since the burning effect can't stack, neither can the poison effect. But the bleeding effect is very powerful since it does stack for each pellet

5:06 if I'm not mistaken, Bethesda games have since at least Morrowind made it so the AI is capable of telling if the player is resistant or immune to a certain damage type, so if the AI detects that you have that resistance to their damage, they won't bother attacking as they'll recognize that it would be worthless for them to do so
I only knew it from Morrowind. Probably because Bethesda made sure you never get 100% resistance in their modern games. Morrowind AI was really advanced for it's time. 7:35 I've had this happen a few times before, I had a melee weapon that did 1500 damage, and enemies would begin to run, being scared when I killed one of them. A hilarious thing to see is when a super mutant comes up to you with a melee weapon and calls you a puny human, only for you to slice their arm off, and they scream to run away. Enemies will also begin to talk about you if you start killing many of their faction types and even fear you. I've seen this a lot late game with raiders.
To explain 3:58, Legendary effects like Foritfying and Unyielding don't provide health bonuses, only the other Endurance-related buffs like poison and AP sprint drain. It's likely intentional to prevent the player from having "temporary" health or way too much. The second you said "I didn't realize why they weren't attacking me" I immediately remembered the "confidence mechanic" (idk if that's it's actual name. Just what I've seen it called) Enemies have a confidence called of 1-10. Depending on your "hidden stats" towards an enemy's confidence value+ some other values (like their limb damage or nearby npcs in their faction) determines if they'll flee from you. Basic radstags have a confidence value of 1, so they always flee unless cornered. And a 10 is never flee. Doing 100000 damage while taking 15,000% less against supermutants definitely will top out their confidence
3:58 for the car that killed you, endurance for armor pieces does not increase your health, because health is calculated by: 80 + (base end x 2) + (level -1) + (base end/2 +2.5) with 80 + (base end x 2) deciding the health you have at the beginning and (level -1) + (base end/2 +2.5) deciding health gain each level your starting health is 80 + end x 2, so a character with 10 end will start with 100 health and gain 7 health on their first level, with it only growing as you level up more. bobble heads effect health gain because they are permanent, but armor does not. if they did, you would have had 2,599 health, but you only had 124.
In new vegas, you dont need the terrifying presence perk for enemies to run away from you. I think it has something to do with your level and your DT. For example, a group of legion assassins approached and i was wearing the armour of the 87th tribe, elite riot helmet and a 1st recon beret whilst holding a minigun. Before the battle started, one kept running towards me whilst the other 3 ran for the hills
My first thought when he started to talk about the change to two shot "Cool I wonder what that would look like on a fat mat with the MIRV modification" and I have to say it went better then I expected.

The second you said "I didn't realize why they weren't attacking me" I immediately remembered the "confidence mechanic" (idk if that's it's actual name. Just what I've seen it called)
Enemies have a confidence called of 1-10.

Has complete nervous system shutdown
3:58 for the car that killed you, endurance for armor pieces does not increase your health, because health is calculated by:
80 + (base end x 2) + (level -1) + (base end/2 +2.5) with 80 + (base end x 2) deciding the health you have at the beginning and (level -1) + (base end/2 +2.5) deciding health gain each level
your starting health is 80 + end x 2, so a character with 10 end will start with 100 health and gain 7 health on their first level, with it only growing as you level up more.
bobble heads effect health gain because they are permanent, but armor does not.
if they did, you would have had 2,599 health, but you only had 124.
why does youtube keep recommending me great channels like this?
I love you channel bro
Thanks for being you!!
the car go: "you know what, I'm going to choose violence today"
In new vegas, you dont need the terrifying presence perk for enemies to run away from you. I think it has something to do with your level and your DT. For example, a group of legion assassins approached and i was wearing the armour of the 87th tribe, elite riot helmet and a 1st recon beret whilst holding a minigun. Before the battle started, one kept running towards me whilst the other 3 ran for the hills
It's funny that the enemies panicking is in the code when you normally wouldn't be able to get to the point that it triggers that.
Swan: fuck this shit, i'm out

My first thought when he started to talk about the change to two shot "Cool I wonder what that would look like on a fat mat with the MIRV modification" and I have to say it went better then I expected.

Dear god. You did it. You took my suggestion and used it. I'm amazed. Thank you so much for using it.
Glad you liked it!
I love how the two shot minigun just becomes an M61 Vulcan
this was a really good idea i love your vids
Dangerous thing is I've had encounters where legendary enemies equip and use their own drops, so could potentially get hairy.
Your graphics card was screaming by the end

Dude one time I was playing a survival run (you can only save at beds) and I ran into the back of a car and lost HOURS of progress. Took every fiber of my being to not put a hole through myself and my monitor.
