- Hi Conservation Crew!
Last week we enjoyed four days in the amazing Forest of Dean. We went for a jolly but the reason we chose this area is because it is well known for a population of 'feral' wild boar and more recently, pine martens.
We had an amazing time there and saw some amazing species including:
Silver-washed fritillary butterfly
Lime hawkmoth caterpillar
Holly blue butterfly
Green dock beetle
Common darter dragonfly
Bloody-nosed beetle
Mallard duck
Mandarin duck
Coot
Mute swan
Fresh water mussel
Grey squirrel
Fallow deer
Red fox
Did we see wild boar or pine martens? Watch to find out!
