I built a 7.5" AR SBR back in 94. Worked great minus the bad extractor. The KICK is wonderful and the fireball with a flash hider is amazing. The easy-ist AR to bumpfire. The barrel gets SO hot so quickly I wrapped the round aluminum handguard in paracord to keep from burning my hand after just 30 rounds. One day (at the HMHS Shoot in Maine) I was able to put a FA lower on it. A friend and I ran 2 Beta-C mags through it without any problems. BUT the gun got so hot the ONLY place you could touch it was the rear of the stock I took it apart and faced the barrel towards the wind to cool it down.
Your problem is not a bad extractor, the gas port is so close to the bolt that the gas reaches it too fast, what's happening is the casing in the barrel is still expanded (locked in) and the extractor will either slip or bite off a tiny bit of the lip where it connects. All you need to do is put a heavy buffer to delay the bolt a few milliseconds and problem solved - if it ever happens to you again, look at the casing and you will se the extractor marks trying to pull it off but failing. Hope it helps

@@brownmangaming1529 agree to disagree. a 40 gr bullet at 1450 is a ton less energy than a 55 gr going 1800 close to 1900. its a huge difference. not only is it several hundred FPS faster and heavier by nearly 30 %.
energy is more than double that of the 22.lr. AND its a full jacketed bullet, or you could run a HP or SP .223.
@@mtnbound2764just use a .22 magnum at that point. No reason to spend 5.56 money on .22 energy.
@@brownmangaming15291,500 fps from a 4" is optimism bording on fantasy with 22LR.

Throw a Viltrox 550 Field Monitor on that baby.
Adding a power bank to the end of the top handle after flipping it 180 degrees not only gives stability to your movements, you won't have to change batteries in the camera!
Just bought a 4.5" AR-15 and have all the nifty upgrades coming also, so exited, pistol should be here Thursday 😊😊😊😊
4:15 do I see a giggle switch👀
The fabled third hole
AA2200 would be a good powder to use in the short shorty ars for 556. Get some decent velocities in those shorties with that powder
I gotta short one too 😂
What's up demoltitia!
