Ralph I have been praying for Leanne and asking God for complete healing. My only child is going to have heart surgery in a week or so. I would ask you humbly to pray for her. I am bedridden , on hospice care and she is my caregiver so I will have to go into a hospice day care. I’m 86 years old and God has al❤ways been there for me whenever I needed him. I love you, Leanne and all your boys and their families and I will continue to pray for each one of you. God bless you all.

Personally, I think the chickens are going to continue to come over to the front lawn and will eventually take over your porch too. You'll have chicken doo doo all over the place unless you can come up with a way to keep them out. Maybe you'll need to fence in the front lawn/ porch area?

Ralph, we’ve used Mrs. Stewart’s bluing for years to keep algae and mosquitoes from any of our outside water sources. It won’t hurt the animals or the kidlets. They have some information on their website. It’s definitely an off label use. But it works.
I was a manager at a big box store that sold water plants every summer. The bluing kept us from having a mosquito problem.
The chickens will be pooping on the porch. Once they start.. it just goes on. I love our chickens. It’s a pain in the backside.

Thank the good Lord that LeeAnn’s surgery went well. We were all praying so hard for her. Sorry the birds are messing up the garden. It will be a shame if you have to start fencing them back in again. They really are making quite a mess. You have so much on your plate but yet you still always put everyone else first. Your family is so special to me. God bless you and the entire Doss family.

I would love to have chickens to clean out my flower beds! They aerate, fertilize and clean out bugs and weeds. Of course you could always move the electric fence from the side of the garage down the driveway to keep them off the main yard.

Our God is such an awesome God. I prayed for Leeann numerous times Monday. I kept checking your community page, facebook, etc. For an update. I prayed some more and have had her on my mind. God answered our prayers 100% just like he always does. Now I know he answers them the way we hope and other times he says no. He also allows things to happen for a reason we don't always know. I had been through that procedure and I knew what she faced. As for the chickens, once they found my flower beds they never forget. Then they found my flower pots and same thing. I don't know how to keep them out but I wish I did. God bless you both and all your critters. ❤❤❤

Hi Diane. I had cataract surgery a little over a year ago. It won't be bad, I promise. Just make sure they give you a warm blanket. That felt soo good!

To keep the chickens out of the yard you might try small flags. They would blow in the breeze. The next step could be small chicken wire down the side of the driveway.

Ralph, what you need to do ASAP is run in the house, grab a couple of warm blankets and a pillow. Because when LeaAnn see's that you will be sleeping with Rev and Rylie!

Grampa, you feed them chickens wormies all the time and you never trained them to come running when you shake the wormy bag. Try it. Works like a charm.,when my girls go visiting all I do is shake the bag. I don't chase chickens. They only get treats when they come. Do not feed them to much, just enough to lure them in, then you can reward them.😅

I prayed for LeeAnn. I’ve not had her specific procedure but I’ve had more than 15+ procedures and it’s not slowing down!
l’ve experienced numerous surgical procedures in the past couple months. The most recent was this morning. I have to have another surgery to fix a surgery that didn’t fix the breathing problem I was having and another spinal procedure. I will need to have spinal procedures every 3-4mos for the rest of my life.😩But I’m hoping to get the breathing problem fixed once more, then done! I hope this helps her feel better and it’s a ‘one and done’!
