Currently I'm only play on iRO which is, by default, using renewal mechanics. I actually don't know any other servers that using pre-renewal mechanics.

How is the mechanic compared to the genetic?

Well depends on your playing style, but genetic tends to burn more z to buy eq than mechanic.

Now do it without the gear you have. Because its not a tutorial if you use gear people cannot get when they are new.
