What’s funny is that it’s technically Stefan’s Diary lol
Exactly lol Stefan and also Elena but the show was always about Stefan’s story. The final scene was between Stefan and Damon which proves imo that the main storyline was truly about them as brothers.
Rosenbaum gave the show a lot of soul. We all know who Clark, Lois, and Jimmy are, they're the same every time. But the way Smallville played with Lex Luthor "sometimes he's the friend, sometimes he's the villain, sometimes he's the victim, sometimes he's the hero" gave the show depth. You kind of know in the back of your mind "Lex is destined to be Clark's arch nemesis" but you watch Smallville and you don't want to believe that.
Smallville had a number of very great actors, and you were one for sure.
Yes. Lex was a terrifying character. Very well done.

oh yeah lex was the best character from smallville for sure, i grew up watching i think was 11 and in middle school when it came out, the girls always wanted to talk about lana and clark and the guys were always talking how lex will figure out the truth
and to this day whenever i hear about a new superman coming out, my first thought is whether we get to see the best version of lex again
Not as good looking as the other actors? Michael, what are you talking about? Not only you are, but also did a tremedous job with your acting. I recently watched Smallville and you could see the commitment, the passion, the skills. When I say Lex Luthor, your face comes to mind immediately. And I have seen all the Lexes, including the animated series

TVD was Stefan’s story. It literally started with his diary and ended with Elena writing in her own diary about how she owes everything she has in her life to Stefan.
As a whole, The Vampire Diaries was about the bond between Damon and Stefan as brothers and how they found their way back to each other.
There’s a reason why the very last scene of TVD was between Damon and Stefan.

I wondered, “Why didn’t he just push Katherine into the fire?” Since he was able to hold onto her, she obviously didn’t have the 500 year old vampire strength that she use to have. So he could have pushed her into the tunnel when the fire came roaring by.
