I have been speaking in my prayer language for forty years and can't imagine a spiritual life without it. I have found at least 15 purposes for it in scriptures.Truth or Tradition has the most accurate teaching regarding the Holy Spirit field that I have found over my years of research and teaching. All these other videos are designed to confuse people and keep them from discovering the true experience that will empower you to live abundantly.

Blessings brother! Thanks for this edifying video. I just have a question concerning the manifestations of the Spirit. How is it that everyone could have all the manifestations when Paul states that "...God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as He chose..." (1 Cor. 12:18 ESV) Because although we all have the Holy Spirit, we all have different manifestations and ministries.

All that have recieved the Holy Spirit can speak in "tongues"( one spiritual language).

so your obviously a really intelligent guys and Im honestly curious of your point of view. In acts 2 and 10 weren't they understandable actual languages? All speaking were Galileans but people from all different tribes and nations heard in their own language. But today when people speak its some kind of "prayer language" which again, I get where people are getting it from 1 Corinth 14. Its just hard for me to accept that what was happening in Acts 2 and 10 and probably 19 was something different than what Paul wrote about in the Corinthian church, which was also around that same Acts18-19 period of time. Wouldn't it make more sense for them all to be understandable languages? Also would that make it a much more miraculous gift? Certainly one which would validate the Gentiles being included into the church? I mean any Gentile could talk in a "prayer language" but I feel like that wouldn't be good enough proof for some in the Jewish church to accept them. But if God did something really crazy like make them speak languages they didnt know before than that would truely be a miraculous sign of God.

Darren Dewald I see that no one answered to you. Picture this, over a hundred people mumbling something, even if it’s real languages, I think all you’d be able to hear is the joined hum. I thinks they were all speaking in their prayer languages, but it was the power of the Holy Spirit that allowed men around them to hear their own languages. In other words, it was actually the gift of interpretation that was given to the new believers. I didn’t come up with this myself but had healed someone else and it made total sense to me.

Hi Darren, God is not the author of confusion. It really is not complicated. The 'gift' of tongues is being able to speak in another language i.e French, Arabic, German etc for the benefit of the unbeliever...and the 'gift' of interpretation speaks for itself. However, 'speaking in tongues' - your prayer language - is your spirit speaking with the Spirit of God. Someitmes you know what your saying somegtimes you may not. I hope this helps somewhat. God bless you.

    Where are all the interpreters?
If you have no interpreter then let the speaker with a “tongue” keep silent in the church and speak only to himself and God.

Yeah but never tells him to stop or that its wrong, only to quiet down and to continue to pray to God.

Just to be clear, the translators translated "charismata" as "gift". So were they a little off because it's the plural for "grace"? Thank you brother.
