I just got back from Navy bootcamp and had signed a contract to be a Cryptologic Network Technician (their version of a cybersecurity specialist), but ended up getting screwed over on my contract and separated for medical reasons. Getting sent back to square one has been tough, just out of high school looking hopefully into college and work but my passion for cybersecurity is still there. My goal is to get my Sec + and whatever other certs I think will help me get the job I’ve always dreamed of. Thank you for this video, it was very informational! #cybr
@@Duder-y5o My recruiter lied to me about a qualification for my Top Secret security clearance and knew I wouldn’t be able to get it which in turn got my contract revoked and they tried sticking me with Cullinary Specialist with a 93 ASVAB
My career goal is to get the sec+ early next year and to take the pnpt exam before the summer. I want to get a job in penetration testing after graduation. #Cybr
My IT Carrer Goals: First: Learn more about IT technologies which build my IT security knowledge (try harder my knowledge :)) Second: Change my current job position to Security Analyst or Penetration Tester position. Third: Opportiunities to use my knowledge in real world scenarios in my job or future job. #CYBR
@@TheBeardedITDad Hm... First on all: I have many IT Certs like MCSA, MCSE or CISSP. I work in IT for 18 years :). But... I decided to change something in my live and carrer. Now i prepare for OSCP exam and it is harder than I thought. Especially in mind and emotional perspective - not technical skills. This is my plan for next year to be accomplished. Regards.
