    Great job. I’m a commercial/industrial contractor. One thing about the dirt and spray cleaner it will most be the dirt into the drain. I would have used a spryer or water hose and a wet vac to get most of the water. Yes some my get inside. Or pull unit set on roof and clean it like new. Note I’m not disagreeing with your method as I know we must control costs. Thanks.

      In a perfect world using water or pulling the unit would be ideal. But risking any water intrusion when we open the AC to the elements and expose it to water intrusion is a risk. But we do agree, if cost and time were not a concern, pulling the unit and moving it away from the roof opening would be a solid option. Thanks for the comment! 😀

      Was the inside filter dirty and was it restricting air flow? Is it a good practice to not at least check that as well? Nice video any who

      @@missionrvservices I just noticed today the compressor comes on but the choils are not freezing up?

    • @missionrvservices
      @missionrvservices  3 місяці тому

      @@gallom325 that means that the compressor is not moving refrigerant or refrigerant has been evacuated from the system. If you go on your roof and open up your unit, look for oil around the copper tubing. If so, that's a clear sign that all your refrigerant leaked out. If you're still under warranty, you should report that asap. 😥

      By the way. Remember my AC issues of no refrigerant or cooling...well they are replacing both units. Now I have to wait for the authorization and shipment of the units. Not sure how long that takes..we hope not to die by then. 😂
      Thank you for your guidance and educational videos. Be blessed.🙏🏽🫶

    Hi Drew.
    Blessings to you and your businesses. I have a question brother. I have a 2024 Coachmen Mirada and the rear AC UNIT is blowing warm air. She does turn on and off but not really cooling. Can it be one of the capacitors?? This is a GE AC system.

    • @missionrvservices
      @missionrvservices  3 місяці тому

      It’s possible, but if the fan & compressor are coming on, it might be a bad AC 😞 we’re still hearing of other techs having to go out and replace GE units that are only months old. I’d have it looked at under warranty ASAP.

      @@missionrvservices Hey Drew. Blessings my friend. Quick update on our AC Coachmen replaced both with new units of course. So far so good. I'm keeping an eye on them. And praying they stay strong and healthy 🙏🏽😉

    Nice video, quick question. Cleaned a friends ac and he had a sensor stuck in the side on a 6 yr old camper. Cleaned my 1 yr old camper and I do not have a sensor pushed into the coils... Is this normal on newer models. Thanks

    • @missionrvservices
      @missionrvservices  Рік тому

      Is it a ceiling mounted control unit? Because they have a different type of sensor. That one checks the temperature of the air not the coils. But about 90% of the models have the freeze sensor. Even the newer models.

      @@paulvirag1852 a ceiling mounted controller is a cover that has an on off switch as well as a climate control mounted on the ceiling right below the AC unit. This control takes the place of a thermostat on the wall.
