Two absolute legends in the ring. Bronco Lubich had flown in from Dallas to officiate this important match but he got hold of some bad shellfish that day at lunch and was unable to answer the bell so to speak.
That’s the only footage I’ve seen of Tom Renesto since I saw him wrestle in Georgia has as Assassin No.1 except he was supposed to be the Booker in Memphis in 1985 in a feud with Jerry Lawler. I don’t know if WWE has any of the original two Assassins since they bought WCW and WCW was originally Georgia Championship Wrestling.
