Lucky Tim! 🍻Have fun !😎👍
Thanks!
Renting to test out cameras is a pretty smart move. I probably should have done this with several cameras I bought. I'd have more money and more room in my camera closet.
Yes less risk!
So my initial impressions are... you look like Hawaiian Charles Barkley. In terms of the camera.. man I love it. I like touching it/looking at it. I come from XT-2 and Olympus OMD-EM1. Both cameras ergonomically superior to hold yet I'd pick this camer over them any day. I can't believe the hype is right. A pretty camera does make you want to shoot.
So far I've been collecting mostly documentary style pics of fam and some travel shots. Nothing fantasic but as you've said.. it's the process. I'll get something good eventually.
I'm pretty sure you can dig into the menus btw to turn that teleconverter shit off. I haven't figured it out yet as it hasn't pissed me off enough yet to figure out.
Wow I finally met another person that knows an Olympus camera and that likes it. Olympus to me is one of the best walk around cameras. And the color rendition is amazing. Olympus pen f which is discontinued and only can be bought via eBay has the sexy look but easy access functions. Image quality is great. Too. I’m waiting for Olympus to release something but they’ve been stagnant or at least appeal more to landscape photographers
You’re the first to say I look like Charles Barkley lol which means I need to lose weight. Someone said I look like Asian Rock. I’ll take anything at this point 😂
@@WORDONTHESTREETphoto they are both compliments! 😁
@@WORDONTHESTREETphoto I agree… my EM1 went on our Europe holiday and served me extremely well. I’d say my fav camera at this point in time.
The EM1 was revolutionary for its time with class leading IBIS. Took sooo many pics with it.
There still seems to be a decent m43 community but I think Olympus as a business tanked and was bought out. Their current offering in the EM range is ludicrously priced. I agree about its colour btw. A new Pen camera would be nice but don’t hold your breath.
It can be embarrassing and easy to confuse. Not Roman Numerals, “I for one” am in favour of bringing them back. No, it’s always: Cameras front seat UPS. Children back of car FedEx.
I bought a fujifilm X100 something or other about 9 or 10 years ago as a back up camera. Sold it after three months because of the reason you stated, a way too complicated menu. I’m sure people love them, I just couldn’t get on with it.
Always great news to see a new video from you Tim.
Thanks for watching John. I’ve used Leicas, Sonys, GR’s etc. never ever complicated. Pick it up and go end of story. 😊
Did you have the temperature setting set to high when it overheated
😂 🤣
You win comment of the decade sir 🫡
A little arm appeared. 😂
Hey buddy... I think the x100vi is a great camera..... but is so over hyped it makes me feel ill. I'd be embarrassed to own one 🤭 I'm still using my xt3 and a whole bunch of vintage lenses..... perfect for me. Ive no need to have a 40mp sensor. I know you can crop in a bit more at 40mp but that's it. All photos end up at resolution of your screen anyway..... so a desktop monitor only displays a file at about 10mp. You'd need a monitor 6 feet wide to display a 40mp image. I still shoot my 8mp Canon 30D and get great images .
Ark at me moaning on 😂😂.
Great vid buddy. I always enjoy your vids.
😎📷👍
You hit it on the nail better than I. I know ppl that still shoot with old canons and get amazing quality. An arm???? Omg was an alien in my car!!!!! 🤣 👽
@@WORDONTHESTREETphoto yes mate... a little alien 👽 made contact 😄
Just fyi Steve if you haven’t seen my street doc fill the frame it’s going on UA-cam for free on April 6th. You’ll see it on my homepage under videos 🤙
@@WORDONTHESTREETphoto Thanks Tim.... I've hit the "Notify Me" button. Cheers. Now.... im just going to sit and wait. 😆😎🤜
yo... your lips look REALLY lubed up!?!? sup with that?
my lips are suuuuuppperrr dry...i only recently started taking care of them LOL thanks for noticing...if you look closely i have a dry blood area in the middle of my bottom lip due to not moisturizing it all these years and cut/crack open and close so often. i need to make it shiny now
@@WORDONTHESTREETphoto HAHAHAHAH... super distracting bro. Nah, look after them lips. Pretty jelly you live in Hawaii.. been there twice and LOVED it. I got myself the 6 recently.. took it to Singapore for holiday I'll let you know when I do a review myself to check out. No great images but I might post my own insights... Still watching your video. Take it easy ☺
I will consider blurring them in my next video. Looking forward to the review and images!
