Thankyou Dr. This information is really helpful. My father had lumbar spinal cord injury, after 4 months he went for scan because he lost alot of weights and they discovered that he had spinal TB. They put him on Anti-Tb drugs, but he still having his legs swollen. Does this mean it reached the dangerous level and the anti- tb drugs cannot help? Kindly need clarification here
Hi sir I deleveloped a condition lateral shift due to l5 bone tb. I was in medication for 11 months.After checking my last xray doctor mentioned my l5 bone is healing and the tb got recovered but the lateral shift problem is still present
Im also having L5 s1 lumber disc TB, now the Disc is collapsed

Yeah 99% time it doesn't require surgery. But if paralyzed or in case medicine not working then surgery is necessary. I myself got treated without surgery and spoke with 100s of others who got treated with just medicine. Only few people needed surgery.
