I always go to True Value or Tractor Supply and but stainless screws for mounting my license plates and polish the head of them so they look good and stainless doesn’t r7st.
Does your truck have the factory speakers when you just played it for your test? Which JVC head unit is that? On my 02 Suburban I have to buy a new dash trim for double DIN head unit. I don’t want a single din then have to have to mount a camera monitor also. Want like u did a head unit with monitor for cameras.
Yeah, it’s still running the factory speakers, still sounds pretty good. I bought it from crutchfield. It’s the JVC KW-M560BT.. they hooked me up with everything I needed for the install. The camera is definitely a must!
Nice clean install! Looks like ol' Suzie B didn't escape the bad gauge stepper motors. Been through all that with my '04 Silverado.
Thanks, it came out pretty sweet.. yeah, that’s next on the list, send the cluster out to get repaired.

That’s smart, always looks terrible when those screws start rusting. I like the polishing idea too!

What size was the head unit you installed
It was double din. I picked it up through Crutchfield.
