a small tip is that you can get vampire tasks from the Mazchna / Vannaka slayer master so if you have a slayer helm/black mask you can use this tip to get the boss down much easier :)
High magic defense armor and high magic level help. It makes sense to bring karambwans and find out what one-tick eating means. A super combat potion and some prayer potions are necessary. When the lightnings strike during phase 2, one should not move until the tile you stand on turns dark. And the tile you should move to (click) should be the diagonal one in a 90 degree angle, not the next one as the lightning can strike there soon.
I went straight up str gear. Just turned on piety and drank a dose super combat and killed him in like 20 seconds during phase 2. The issue is that the flail is very inaccurate so piety and super combat will let you out dps him. The diagonal tile buffer and combo eating is definitely the move as well.
It's so insane. I'm 94 combat and got to the second phase with 13 sea turtles left, and I still could not finish him. The dps in that phase is absolutely insane, and I only got hit once by the lightning...
One thing that makes me think is the reason why he's doing it so easily, is because he's counting on the first stage in between the boss specials, how does he know how much time does each special take to trigger?
Did this at 81 combat with 6 bews, 2 superrestore, 1 super combat and rest manta rays. god dhide bot and top, dragonboots, neitzot helm, blessing, dragon defender, combat bracelet and ardy cape 2 for amu i just used glory, and no ring pog 70att, 63str and 66def, 43 prayer
How ? I m 94 combat and getting fucking slapped constantly. My rng for hitting is so shit and maybe I get him too 100hp first phase with 1 shark left and used about 5 pray pots. The rng on osrs is bullshit
@@MrPeGGaming I agree the rng is pretty shit. It took me a couple of tries aswell.. For me, the problem was the lightning stuff in phase 2. You should focus on avoiding that over attacking imo. And when you feel "comforatable" with that, you can progress. You have unlimited try :))
Im getting clapped with 65 attk 69 str 60 def and 72 prayer. Seems 75% of my attacks miss. I'm temped to grind 65 defense and get the piety prayers unlocked
There is a safely from the lightning to through of the stairs and flags north. It is where the for goes from light grey to dark. You can come out hit and how back.
The problem is when you get hit and suddenly thrown off your "strategy" and you panic :D Did this on my fourth attempt after getting more confident on phase 2

I tried 4 times before I noticed you can lure him into his blood spell. Saves heaps of time

Just did this on my second attempt, not sure what all the fuss was about tbh. Felt pretty easy to me.
For me it’s constantly getting damaged and having to out dps it while staying above 40 hp
