    “We getting f-up to tonight” is giving Parliament and Funkadelic
    One of my favorite parts of the song.

    I'm one of the people who have listened to this album non stop since it's release. I love your analysis! This song is so joyful I didn't even realize all the complex stuff she was doing. Thank you, O' Neil!!

    There’s a run at the end of the clean version that is sooooo beautiful and not on the explicit version. I looooveee her ❤

    There are actually 2 notes on the last syllable of the word "Something" when she says "I'm in the mood to f*** someTHING up". She goes down a tiny little bit at the end of the word.

    This was incredible.......wish I could work with you directly. I'm a jazz and blues singer-songwriter, but would like to learn to add vocal nuances here and there. You're right about finding these inner messages and aesthetics to keep things fresh and inviting.

    Of course you have a beautiful voice but this song seems to fit your voice especially well. I was a little taken aback on some of those runs lol

    As someone who really loved Beyoncé the belter, I'm having a hard time getting used to her new style of singing. I remember when she'd belt F5s like it was nothing, so the fact she won't belt any notes above C5 is weird. But the music is still great, so I guess at some point I'll get used to it. It's just not the same voice I fell in love with, if I'm being honest.

      Belting is overrated

    • @cupofbleach3352
      @cupofbleach3352 2 роки тому +2

      but…it literally is the same voice? I feel like you’re the same type of person to complain that someone has no range then when they show that they have range it’s a problem with the way they used it.

    • @tiarafairley5983
      @tiarafairley5983 2 роки тому +3

      you got to remember that she's getting older, so that belting that you're used to hearing won't be the same, because her voice has matured and it's gotten a lot deeper,

    • @cavalrystyles8776

      She can belt but she won't because her ear or vocal styling has evolved. One of my fav vocal performances was this year's Oscars. It was epic yet was deliberately absent of a strong 5th octave belt. Also her 4th octave has gotten MUCH stronger since the twins there is no need to push out a 5th. Her vocals today are very liberated healthy and free. She's singing with the music and not on top of it. How can you expect belting on a upbeat album anyway?, this isn't bday.

      CxH, Ariana, and hell even Solange admitted that they took vocal inspirations from Destiny Child and Beyoncé. Y’all acting like Beyoncé belt on every song when she’s not 💀 (especially on her last 3 albums cuz she ain’t force singing to hard like her earlier work/performances) I love the more comfortable range it sounds like honey often and more healthy that and at the end of the day Beyonce doesn’t have to prove anything. She’s a household name and anyone who still hating after this woman went solo 20+ years ago is either bitter or just refuse to give this woman her flowers (so get hip or hop away 💀🐝)
