Open court was so dope man, it was almost like a predecessor to the athlete podcasts we have today although it was nowhere near as unfiltered but getting to hear stories of back in the day was so cool.
I'm sure he'd be on there more, but he's calling games with Kevin Harlan. He's great in that role. For someone that loved talking a lot of smack on the court, he really found his calling doing play-by-play. He and Kevin Harlan make a great team.
That sounds good. But he was there during a time where teams had some semblance of loyalty AND they were trying to win. Teams these days have no loyalty and some of them are never trying to win. Players today need to do what’s best for them.

Reggie always been so classy. Love hearing him talk. No ego at all. But obviously all the confidence when he was a killer back in the day! I started watching the NBA around 2003. And my first OG idol was Reggie!
Those fans don’t realize how special Reggie was for that franchise!! And he’s a great member of the NBA on TNT family! He added a lot of laughs in those mid and late 2000’s with the guys!
They definitely know Reggie in Indianapolis. And Mel Daniels, George McGinnis, and Roger Brown (Despite never touching an NBA court). The franchise and fanbase really venerates all its historical greats from every era though the mid 2000's team gets less love due to how it fell apart.
Shout out Terre Haute, Indiana where I was born & raised. Where Indiana State University is. The city that Larry Bird played college & where his statue is at.
Man I hated Reggie as a Knick fan growing up lol. I have so much respect for that man, what he accomplished on the court and how he continues his Hall of Fame life on the sidelines. Salute Reggie Miller 🫡
I have ten times more respect for Reggie staying loyal and wanting to get it done in Indiana than any of these ring chasers now regardless of how many they have. Champ in my eyes.
Former players will knock todays stars for being too friendly, and how joining forces to form super teams would never happen back then. True, but that story about the Celtics letting Zeke, a rival team’s star player spend time w the team to “learn how to win” would never happen today either. So weird.
0:19 I thought he said “India’s the perfect spot to host the All Star Game” and now I’m imagining the All Stars all meeting up and playing against eachother in a random court in Mumbai or smth
Indiana basketball tradition started decades ago. "While Hoosier Hysteria isn’t a recognized medical condition, everyone in Indiana knows what it means. It’s a passion for the game of basketball in the Hoosier State, starting with a heavy interest in the state’s famous high school tournament. The term originated at the turn of the 20th century as the game spread across Indiana’s big cities to its small farming towns. The birth of Indiana’s passion for basketball can be traced to the game’s inventor himself: Dr. James Naismith. Though he invented the sport in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1891, basketball’s inventor noticed how quickly the sport had caught on in Indiana. Naismith came to Indiana in 1925 to see Indiana’s popular high school tournament. Shortly after, he wrote: “While the game was invented in Massachusetts, basketball really had its origin in Indiana, which remains the center of the sport.”
What people don't understand. In indiana its very off the grid to alot of America. Everyone plays basketball in there small towns. And they are lethal shooters. Cultured by Reggie Miller.
There is gotta be a way for Reggie to be on 2K even if he does not want to....Which is bad for Indiana....when younger generations see the classic teams and he is not there....that is a piece of history missing....he is selfish for that even if he got good intentions behind it...I am the biggest RM31 fan...and I need him on the game....
Reggie had some good moments on the set with these guys, they should have him there more often! Also bring back open court with the OG’s
love that Open Court
