Thanks for the detailed explanation. Really nice to get this level of detail by watching a video. I do find it interesting the rear width versus the front width. I'm good with the icon stage 8 for my needs. But if I had money to just blow this would be it. 😂

This kit vs Portals? Pros cons etc

Depends on your needs. You're not going to do the same things primarily with the Baja kit that you would do with a portal kit. Portals are for ground clearance so if you are obstacles are relating to that then go with that. But if you want to stream across the desert at high speed you definitely want the Baja kits. Both of these kids will allow you to do all kinds of off-roading it's just one will do one thing better than the other.

Very well said @texasbradley . And this is a great question. Portals are amazing, no doubt. More ground clearance, and tough as nails. Probably overkill for most people, and the price tag jumps another $20k, cause portals are $20-30k by themselves. I'm not deeply familiar with all the Portal options out there so I can't say how much they each widen the Bronco, but I'm assuming some do and some don't, so that would need to be evaluated as well, and some of the content we have in this video may not apply to that application. There are other brands putting out pre-runner style long travel kits as well, but many of them come in at very high pricepoints, or are only available if installed by the provider/shop. Our position at this moment in time, is that the Baja Kits is one of the best "bang for the buck" to achieve the target result. Thanks for the killer question!

Cool kit but to much for what I need. I'll probably end up with the carli kit once my bronco is out of warranty.

How does someone with a new bronco that lives in New York get your services and install especially when they’re spending $15-$20,000. I would much rather have someone like yourself do it than Joe Schmoe that installs mufflers.

This company sucks. At almost eight months into my purchase they have over $14k of my money and I only have a few parts. They don’t return phone calls or emails. I’ve already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I’m looking for a lawyer

That’s crazy. When I called 4-5 months ago just asking about the kit the guy was really trying hard to get the sale. He called and texted for several days after and I ended up ordering and it all came in over a 3-4 week period.

@@JD2CYLINDERNUT yup they’re great at selling the product the suck at building it and customer service. The production manager will lie constantly about the status of your kit. After having the kit I am regretting it. I spent 20k to ruin my Bronco. The ride is horrible. It was way smoother and faster Offroad with the Sasquatch package.
