Dude the whole point of writing white vision is so they can bring vision back so whatever his intentions were when he flew away I'd guess they didn't go through the trouble of writing the character back to life just for one single scene about the ship of Theseus.

In the comics he actually does try to destroy himself because of this but it doesn’t work. Eventually Wanda finds him and tries to remind him of who they were together but without the mind stone he’s incapable of love. It’s actually very heartbreaking and tragic, which is pretty on par for Wanda and vision.
I would’ve liked to see that instead of seeing some of the unnecessary things in Multiverse of madness, but you know what we’ll just have to see and find out For those of you that might think I’m trashing on Multiverse of madness. It’s OK movie it’s not the best but it’s OK like what you want.

I think they have a great opportunity for a solo tv series with Vision Quest. If they keep him as the main and only character at least. He’s clearly a thoroughly intelligent hero, who understands the concept of life and death. Within the series they could explore so many reflections back on his and Wanda’s relationship, but also a balance of Vision finding himself and refinding his humanity. I dunno if it makes sense, but there’s just a lot of potential for a sleeper hit with this.
The fact that Hex Vision gave him back his memories, is a clear indication, that any primary directive programming would’ve been overridden on the strength that True Vision as a Synthazoid is autonomus.
My other half had a great theory. She said just like Bucky when he found out who he was, he didn’t go right back to Steve. He went to a museum and learned about himself, we thought he’d go back to wakanda. Where he died and sort himself out there
In the OUT of TIME story arc that brought Bucky back in the comics he went back to the long deactivated Camp Lehigh to try to clear his head. The Epting/Brubaker years was one of the best CAPTAIN AMERICA runs ever.
If you really think about it they could made another vision for Wanda and they can finally have there happy ending also all of the evil things she did could of been avoided and this can happen if Wanda is still alive
I think Vision undid the programming and gave him his memories as well. Otherwise, his eyes would've been blue still. He's a pure robot now so he has no emotions. He can match densities. I think he left the Hex knowing the situation would resolve itself with the conditional vision. His mindset is at when he last died. Wanda destroying the stone. My guess is he went to look for Stark and Captain America but realizes how much the world has changed.

Absolutely no. Not a chance. During their conversation about his memory block, he came to the conclusion that his memory was blocked specifically to make him a weapon easier to control. When Hex Vision unblocked the memories, White Vision became the original Vision, his own being. This means any programmed control would have been broken. We aren't told where he went, but we can be fairly certain it wasn't to hurt himself. My guess is, he's quite disorientated. His last memories would have been of battle that was raging about him. Likely, since in Ultron, he was shown to be connected to the internet, he would have verified a lot of time had elapsed. More, he was in a reality distorting field, which means anything he's seen could be fake. Beyond that, he's been comprimised. Someone had gone against his express wishes and brought him back to be a weapon. Even more, he's also come to find he no longer possesses the Mind stone. Some part of him has gone missing. My best bet, since he's quite significantly like a computer with a personality, he would seek out a safe secluded space to take stock of things. Assess himself, root out any compromizing code in his system, and learn who he is without the Mind Stone. Selr diagnostics basifally.

In the comics it’s vision who brings the young avengers together when the adult ones get defeated. I’m just going on a large hunch but my guess is with all the kids and side kicks they’re introducing that vision is very likely to do the same in the MCU.
