Awesome detail and overall look. I'm sure the Capra will be more at home crawling on the rocks than bouncing with it's portals and dig. Excellent video.

Thank you for the good comment my friend :D And yes i agree im sure the capra is better on the rocks with portals and a light plastic cage. My machine is let down a little bit by low ground clearance and its a little top heavy, but not a huge problem. It's surprisingly stable in the sand, so what I use it for, a little bit of everything, I think It's really good :)

@@alvinmarin8648 yes i Know. I Think I do a quick studio video in this rig. It started life as a rtr 2.2, brushed rig and over time it has turn into the rig it is today 😎🤙

      Its not better
      1. Heavier
      2. No portals
      3. capra can do donuts in the sand
      4. capra isnt as large
      5. I own both and modded the wraith to only a body panel, electronics and tires, 5.75 OD rock beast alien compounds. The battery is relocated up front as well.
the capra has 5.4 OD tires all the body panels and floor and will not dream of chasing that capra in the rocks

Very cool how you fit all those electronics in there. I’ve ran my 2700kv Capra at 6s in the sand and it was amazing. I use the aux cable to adjust max power which also scales the throttle with it. Tons of throttle modulation when turned down and tons of wheel speed when turned up. 20mph in a locked crawler is kind of ridiculous, but using 4wheel crab steering really helps keep it from flipping.

Thanks for watching man! I think the placement of the electronic on this rig is pretty nice. The mamba x esc is mounted upside down in front, so i looks like the bottom of the engine. the receiver is under the homemade floor board. I tried to hide everything ad much as possible.

Yes indeed 😊🤙 the dragbrak and gearing is really good for rockcrawling. And when I'm racing in the sand I can deactivate the brake on the remote, that's such a cool feature on this rig😎

Thanks but I don't think i want to. Does axles has been so durable as they are, so I don't wanna ad a fail point ( this rig has a lot of toque and its very heavy) A norther thing is, that I like the low ride height, it's so good racing in the sand and this is a machine to have fun on the beach :)

@@mannycopters9903 yes I may used the name a little bit to get attention for my video. But to call it click bait is definitely to take it to fare! Believe me I also hate that stuff! I would like to point out that I didn't say anything in the title that indicates that it's a movie with a Capra. Secondly I think it's pretty clear from the picture as well that it's not a Capra!
I'm sorry if some clicks on it to think it something else but that is never my intention to fool anyone, believe me!

  • @toddbertram6556

Can really tell if your claim is true since you showed so little actual crawling. Ive never really seen a bouncer chassis rig crawl well. Not really what it is designed for, that said the capra has several design flaws so you could be right
