Im staying here for 39 yrs na and i can say na Brunei is really worth to live for… Safe, tahimik and not much abt politics kase talagang magaling mag dala ang sultan dito love Brunei
Refreshing yung presentation! ❤ We also have scheduled visit in Brunei, ayan may reference na kami.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Mel or Enzo. This aligns perfectly with the discussion I had with another commenter last night. Our desire (as travelers OR travel vloggers) is to explore the world from a curiosity about its tourist attractions and cultural offerings, setting aside of political or other concerns.
I was born and raised there. ❤
Hi Ivan, i've come across your video and thank you for the tips. I messaged Jayson your tour guide but he doesn't respond. Need a tour guide for Jan trip to Brunei. Appreciate if you can give recommendations for tour guide aside from Jayson. TIA 😊
Hi Ivan, okay ba mag DIY sa brunei or mas okay talaga kumuha ng private tour? Tska keri naman kahit 1 day tour lang? kasi tawid din kami kota kinabalu sa 2nd day
I forgot the name na. You can navigate it po inside kapag pinag match niyo sa video dahil medyo maliit lang naman yung area 😉😊
@jasfrealabradorpower4764 uy! hello kuya jason! salamat sa pag-tour sa akin! the best! sana may mag-book sa’yo after ko ma share itong video na ito. ingat lagi! :)))
I’m still unsure, but I have a feeling it might happen sometime this year. I’m not closing doors & I’m excited sa possibility. ☺️✈️ ABANGAN SA IG FOR REALTIME UPDATES hehe
Hello po. Will be in Brunei next week, free lang po ba pumasok sa Empire hotel or like okay lang pumunta on your own?
Hellooo! Brunei is worth it in my opinion, but not to be repeated as frequently as other Asian countries. One of the reasons I visited this country was my curiosity, as well as the quantity of negative feedback I saw on vlogs I watched online - i want to witness it live. After touring the country, I felt glad and fulfilled at times as I learned more about its history, culture and other fun facts. I think the decision is based on the traveler's or tourist's interests; for example, if you want skyscrapers, amusement parks and luxury shopping, Brunei is not for you; but, if you enjoy history and culture, this country is worth considering. Again, this is just my opinion, and everyone has their own. 🤗🇧🇳
@ivandeguzman I am sorry, but I disagree, as this is based on the surface view. Any country can do what it wants, and if others do not agree, they better stay away, as I do. But just something to ponder on: In the country, there are corporal punishments, including whippings for alcohol consumption and amputations for certain types of theft. I know theft is a crime everywhere, but alcohol drinking is personal and not the states business. But due to Sharia it is there. Under the SPCO, the penalty for same-sex sexual relations between men is death by stoning, if married, provided they admit to the acts or four male adult Muslim eyewitnesses testify to the acts. If the evidentiary standards are not met, the maximum penalty is seven years imprisonment and a whipping of thirty strokes. This is also the penalty while the moratorium on the death penalty continues. For unmarried men, one year in prison or 100 lashes is the penalty. Sexual relations between women is punishable by a combination of any two of three stipulated penalties: a caning of forty lashes, a maximum prison term of 10 years, and a fine of up to Brunei currency 40,000. The leader pockets the countries wealth.
Thank you for your comment, sir Thomas. I get your point and your complete perspective on the country. Prior to entering the country, I was aware of its political and other issues. Like the majority of us here, I am not in favor of it and told that to the Filipino that I met in Brunei. However, when I visit the country, I focus on tourism, history, culture, and people. If God allows it, my goal is to visit every country in the world, and I'm sure that most of them, like Brunei, have issues. But, in order to fulfill my childhood dream of visiting all 195 countries (including North Korea 😅), I must do so, and I intend to explore and learn more about them. At least I can check it off the list now. Again, I'm touring places to learn about their tourism, history, culture, and people. Really appreciate your comment! 😄👏🏻💯

Brunei is not worth a single penny. One of the worse countries.

Unless you agree to the politics and customs of the country, I rest my case. But of course I would never step a foot there.
