PLEASE NOTE: If your LPE6 is too tight for the slot, warm it up...just a tiny bit until the battery is still stiff but easier to insert. All battery brands have different thickness but this will help you to mould it to the size you have.
The last time I was fascinated by diy camera gear was in the era where there were UA-cam tutorials on how to build steadicams from PVC pipes. You and your team have seriously rekindled my love for DIY gear solutions from like 18 years ago. Fantastic work!
Build a BOLEX pt2 - M16 for Blackmagic Micro is the best video you have ever produced. Brilliant stuff - artistic and informative. As a Photographer/Videographer ALT CINE is one of the most exciting up and coming companies in the camera industry. The video camera product promotion is revolutionary/groundbreaking and its a joy to see what they come up with next. I will be buying the CINE PI camera for sure!
Amazing intro and tremendous production, and I'm not even a quarter way through. Great work as per usual. Breathing real life back into the micro with these innovative and timeless designs and builds. ❤
Love the build as always and with the easy of assembly on it the build it really shows just how modular you can these cameras. As per usual I don't intend to do this build myself but it gives me so many ideas for the future and shows so much of what is possible. For example I think that so many people underestimate just how useful is it to have a camera which can be taken apart quickly for a shot. Or even having a small compartment inside to have a few essentials.
Bro, this is it! It's extremely use to have a completely different style of camera so easily. And you're right about modular compartments. People could easily build something for the G2 that hols 2 x 18650 and the SSD....attach & detach in seconds.
@Altcine great job guys! Love your excitement, drive and passion for the work you do. Can’t wait for Arri remaster “build”?! Hope it involves a tiny full frame camera whose name starts with ‘s’ and ends with an ‘a’ and has an ‘fp’ in the end! 😊
Fascinating video, love the fusion of retro design with modern engineering, you've done a fantastic job. In the intro you are browsing a display of cameras, think I might have spotted one or two that we had in the family way back. Is that a shop or museum,? Looks like an interesting place to visit. Keep up the great work Colin, I always look forward to viewing your videos.
I'm having a little trouble understanding what it is that you are asking for in terms of NP-F plate to AliExpress Monitor attachment. Does the monitor run a higher voltage? If not then you don't need a DC-DC converter, you just need to tap into the NP-F power side, no converter is needed.
Thank you. There is a complete one with screen etc I'm afraid. We're hoping people will build this to prepare for the CinePi as it'll be a similar concept.

Thanks Billy, yeah a fun little project for someone.
So amazing!!! Can't wait to build mine out. And the surprise?!? 👀 The suspense is killing me

The place is a camera museum in Holborn, London.
Really awesome place for film & camera nerds
@@AltCine Thanks, next time I'm in London I pay a visit, looks like a real trip down memory lane. Keep up the great work!!

you are making me miss my BMMCC so hard right now... gotta get my hands on the g2 and do this build

Voltage from a normal npf is too high for that display.
Best just to go usb.
Brilliant Stuff!!!! ❤
You could probably use SmallRig's DreamRig service to have it made in metal.
Can you make this for the BMPCC OG as well?
@@MrDavidemar I would love to but we're behind schedule as it is. Maybe in the future
Great work as always. Do you have a link to the cheap monitor? It appears to be missing from the description.
Hey there, the description is updated with the links now, thank you for pointing it out.
This looks sooooo amazing!!!! I love it, is there something like a finished complete üackage anywere to buy?

@@Big_Gords the music was from UA-cam audio library and I got Stan Lee's voice from a talk he was giving.
