I disagree, for a 17/ 18 year old young woman she does her best to be mature and grow. In the beginning when she brought up not wanting to fight and argue with Danae, first thing she did was admit her own faults and what she could work on. Danae is the immature one. Lots of young girls are annoyed by their mothers and argue with them, and crave independence, even if their mothers have good intentions.
This situation and the relationship between she and her mother kida reminds me of Jenelle from teen mom 2. But I i thik she is doing better the Jenelle at that time, wish her the best.

I didn’t interpret that way. I understood it as she not in the position to cover all the finances regarding Brianna’s baby. Rent, gas etc is something else. Someone’s else’s baby entirely is a huge bill.
They got a big place expecting it would be 3 incomes. Shortly after lost 2/3 incomes therefore she wasn’t prepared to pay on her own
Her mom since day 1 has been concerned about how many incomes she can use in 1 house. Brianna’s exes dropped like flies and it causes issues. I agree in the sense they didn’t think finances thru, especially being an adult/mother. Briannas mom fell short on that part.

I agree as a grown ass woman I would not be counting on any child’s income to pay my bills. At that age they will lose a job over sleep. She should have gotten something she could afford on her own and made the space work as give bri a time line to get her own place or something

What happened at 20:00 shows what happens when Jessica tries to parent her. Brianna goes off on her and it causes chaos as talking to Brianna is like talking to a brick wall. So I can understand why Jessica acts more like a roommate because it keeps the peace.

Because that little money isn't work missing work to sit in a courtroom. The arguing is too much to handle. Some of us just don't care nor do we want their money. It's not beneficial like actually seeing the child would be.

I said some moms don't see it as beneficial. Some just rather the dads build a bond with their child. The court is not always right. And some people rather not miss work for the minimum amount they would get. You said you didn't understand. I just gave you some reasons why most moms don't deal with child support.

Legally being an adult & actually being an adult is 2 different things. Adulting-work, pay rent, bills, medical, food etc have a car and get your son to/from daycare/babysitter. Not relying on mommy to babysit everyday for free, working pt bc you know mommy is there picking up the brunt of the bills/rent. Trust me adulting is hard I’m 35, i wish i stayed hm longer lol but i was 18.5 and said “I’m an adult and can go live w my bf” so i did…we been together 17yrs now(married12) but it was stupid to leave so soon when i had no idea about life. I could have worked and saved up instead of struggling. Struggling sucks!

She never brings up his name or any subjects regarding him. Mostly referring to when the new season starts and she recaps it, even when mtv puts clips in the actual series it skips right over him- who moved across the country for her just to be sent packing.
