Yeah at 12:05 you see an homage to the famous "parrot sketch". I really hadn't paused to read much of the text dialogs until I saw that text wall and was like"I know what this is!" LOL, didn't notice the NPC names.
Looks like a game with a lot of potential. I'm really enjoying this series, but i will just wait and let the game bake for a few months and see what comes of it.
Loving the play through! Ive decided to hold off on buying it for the time being. Im happy to play early access with issues but this one seems a bit too early if you get my meaning. Also Sons of the forest is out next week so im going to go for that one and buy this one when its a bit more developed.
Kage don’t know if you know this but in the starting area in the cave there is a wooded door you can cut down through that is a skeleton with a colt revolver need to him and a cowboy hat on him what you can take, enjoy shooting everything also you made me buy this game cause it look bloody amazing, keep up the good work, i enjoy you videos
My problem was I feel they rushed this game out of the gate too fast. it looks like an out-of-date old game. I feel they should have put in Unreal Engine 5. with the technology we have today I think they could have been a lot farther along if they waited. that's why a lot of other companies take their time before they put it into Early Access.
There's a way that you can fix your mouse pointer issue easily since when I had the game I noticed that it's set up in borderless window mode and all you have to do is go into the settings and make sure it's set to full screen and your mouse pointer issue should go away. Also the game has way too much dialogue and I feel that all this dialogue is just slowing down your progressions through the quest and gets boring really fast. It also feels like if the developer was more interested in writing a story as opposed to having you play a story. Another problem my phone with the game is that when I was playing it I had a really hard time trying to see these indicators above the character since I am a bit colorblind and a lot of those indicators were blending into the background along with the Stoneham number of things on the ground which really made the game very hard for me to play. I hope this developer will spend time fixing the game and getting it done right and I do agree with some of the negative reviews on it that it was rushed out to early access way too fast and not enough time was taken into building the game correctly. But sadly I don't have much hope for the developer in fixing this game correctly and I think it's gonna turn out to be a lemon style game filled with bugs and promise it will never get fixed.
Love the videos, but I kinda understand the bad rep on Steam. I think 20 bucks is kinda expensive considering how early acces this is. I think they should have made is a small playable demo instead. Like polished it off and kept the playable area smaller with fewer missions. Kinda like what the devs did with Tribe: Primitive Builder.

I think people coming from Red Dead Redemption 2 will be caught off guard thinking this is an open world action game. But if you like the crafting, building, survival games this looks excellent. I think this game is getting deserved criticism. It’s not ready for EA release, especially a more expensive one. Early Access is not an excuse for a poor product which you are charging money for and may never be improved.
There is a difference between "Constructive Critism" and "Destructive Critism". The Game is in Early Access... Yet it seem people expect a full game without Bugs. It is not like people are forced to buy it. Its Early Access. If you buy it, and doesnt live up to your idea of an EA state, then it is your own fault. Critism is helpful for all developers i am sure. But Destructive Critism is not. Yet people on the interweb seem to prefer Destructive Critism, atleast on Steam. Personally i stay away from EA titles. Mostly because i generally like games that are in a state where they rarely get updates, just so i can play and take my time. But once this game get in a more developed state, i will buy it.. I just have enough to play right now.
100% agree with you. They are trying to canibalize money over medial dynasty fans .... Medial dynasty is a very good game but this game is made by another studio and they are clearly very bad at game making . It looks like a student project at best ... And i am being nice.

This game might been released to EA to early.. But there could be reasons for that.. Like they running out of money, or maybe they desire feedback to make the game just right. But yes could also be they just want to milk people of money, and then jump ship. Fact is though, no one force you to buy an EA title. And if you do, you should know the risk.. Besides, you can always get a refund, right?.

Hmmm... Let me see, graphics that reminds one of very old console games, sounds that are very basic and probably from a free unity asset, animations... They are horrible... People can forgive a lot of things in early access, but this game screams budget and little effort all over the place at a premium price! - That said no one knows how a game will change during its development, who knows they might make a decent game out of it some day, but today it doesn't look good... And no I am not a kid :)

Nobody wants to pay a premium price for a game that is under devolved. I know a game that has been in development for over 10 years 😆 and they are still working on it. I bought it when it was released to console. I think they are only releasing 1 update a year to the PC version, but they are still working on it though. I'm not too big into games that requires a lot of reading during a play through either. That's just my choice of games though. I also can't remember if this game allows just free play or you have to follow the story line.
I got medieval dynasty when He became early Access. Wild West is not even close to medieval dynasty. He is heavy, full of bugs, an terrible graphic, the movement and building sux. Seems they used The name and success from medieval dynasty Just to take money cause this work is a lame.
You'd think the folks here would know that and that EA on launch day isn't the same as 7DTD EA 10 years in. There's been 4 hotfixes I can see since Kage's 1st 2 vids and I think 1 was applied when he recorded this one.
This is nothing lile medival dynasty, its blockie and not as smooth as it. I will for one never bother playing this game but will watch. You can tell though, this was a cash cow.

The latest update just did a lot and fixed a S-ton, there are of course still bugs as early access goes but its in the right direction.
First, its Ah-gah-ve. It is used to make tequila. Also, you got the fish in stone quest at the very end of episode 2
To change the quests its the directional keys, not greater and less than keys. Can see how you thought that though.
You can recruit people for your towns now. I have 5 townspeople. Only the barn seems to working as a job for workers at the moment.

I wish the end of RDR2 allowed something like base building. It would fill all of my gaming needs

For "reach in Stone" quest you dont even need pickaxe, you just need to find piece of red stone in the loction
