This one is fucking killer. The chorus ending on a high is so neat, the chord movements are so satisfying, and of course whenever you do the recordings from scratch like this they sound out of this world.
The extra effort to record new vocals instead of autotuning the originals is appreciated. the autotune ones while interesting, are kind of unlistenable. sounds great!
It very much depends on the song. The Bohemian Rhapsody negative harmony autotune was mostly excellent, but amusingly turned Freddie into a robot on a few notes! In general I like there is a mix of both rerecorded and autotuned, as you get examples of each.
One of my favourite songs of all time. Love this version too. Also I feel this is could be an interesting candidate for mixing together parts of the original and negative harmony versions to see what happens.
In my opinion, the janglelier songs make the better negative harmony covers, which makes me think that the catalogue of that jangleliest of bands, the Byrds, would be yield up some good choices for future songs.
