@@mildredfaye7 There's bound to be, surely. Though, I'm not very privy to such things, I'm afraid. Perhaps some sort of audio filter, if that's a thing? If nothing else works, you could simply compress and decompress the song until it sounds like sandpaper on a cheese grater. Though, I doubt that would be enjoyable... If you could find a track of just the vocals of the song you're looking for, you could try to combine it with an acoustic instrumental, perhaps. Maybe add a subtle echoey tunnel effect, to give it a haunting feel, as well. That could sound cool.
@@PthariensFlame I think this songs could work like the protagonist is tired of surprises, when the life gets tough, he tries to get a break, he no longer wants more surprises like "No Surprises", tired and depressed, but those continue, the work gets hard, the life gets hard and all gets blurry, so when this hard things happen again, he's no longer surprised, since it's "Another Surprise"
They always make me feel happy. I don't know why, but I can only listen to happy music when I'm already happy, and if I'm not then only sad or loud music is listenable, as the happy songs just make me more sad, while the intense stuff makes me feel better.
I love the production style on your actual covers. The edited original recordings are certainly interesting, but this one, just like your Sound of Silence cover, has a special kind of warmth to it.
Yeah, I would much rather hear Steve's actual singing than a heavily tuned vocal. There's only so much pitch correction you can do to a vocal before it starts to sound really off-putting.
Me before listening: hmm, negative harmony covers always convey kind of the opposite feeling than the original song, I wonder how happy this one will sound like Me after listening: man, why is this song depressing no matter how you play it? Great job!
Man, the production has really improved over time. It sounds so much better with recorded vocals rather than processing the original vocals :) I'm absolutely loving it, keep it up dude!
i like how the original song had the vocals sound sad and the background instruments sound hopeful, and then this version has less sad sounding vocals and a much sadder background track
I am so in love with this. Can’t stop playing that on repeat, it would have been my top 1 song on Spotify at the end of the year if it was there. Sounds amazing!
This and Creep are absolute madness. I've been sharing this to everyone I know. Great job dude!!! I wish you could make some Muse or even The Weeknd (his old songs are very harmonic). Cheers
i've always wanted you to make this, i've reharmonized this song with negative harmony a few times before to get a rough idea of what it would sound like. obviously didn't have the same polish as this does.
Had no idea you'd still been uploading so many bangers all these years, glad i remembered your channel! This is an absolutely amazing cover, I really loved it. ♥
I've never heard the original, and I don't think I'll need to either cause this is so good. I love it when he sings the Negative Harmonies over the AI voices. It sounds so frickin good
I never get why people think Radiohead songs are sad, no surprises for example, always sounded like a song that is full of hope, looking for a simpler place where no alienation wouldnt be. The same is valid to most Radiohead songs, most of them are pretty optimistic if you pay close attention.
I love how Radiohead songs in negative harmony sound like a secret unreleased B-side deep in the archives

brutal but true.

Same with ‘all by myself’. He just has a lovely style and voice ❤

Me before listening: hmm, negative harmony covers always convey kind of the opposite feeling than the original song, I wonder how happy this one will sound like
Me after listening: man, why is this song depressing no matter how you play it?
Great job!
That's because in reality No Surprises chord progression is ""happy"" while it's the lyrics and arrangements that make it sound sad
Feels like the ending song of a movie, no surprises exit music edition
He finally did it. The long-awaited cover of more OK Computer.
I wonder what other Radiohead songs you would be interested in harmony negating. lol
This sounds like a Simon and Garfunkel cover. Actually really great, IMO. Great work!
EXACTLY I WAS THINKING SOUND OF SILENCE TYPE THING
Bery Simon, and Garfunkel🙂.
Amazing how most of this negative harmony songs always sound like Elliott Smith...
Honestly, I thought it was the timbre of your voice but it's the harmony in concert. Together it gives XO vibes.
It's the singers tone and way of singing, bet he is a big big fan of Smith
Someday we're going to discover that negative harmony Elliott Smith results in immaculate power pop
wow, that s actually beautiful. It sounds like the song that plays over the credits at the end of a movie. really bittersweet. Great cover.

It's like listening to "something In the way" and "exit music " at the same time. Or at least I believe that :p
Somehow still sounds like it could be on OK Computer
The guitar is the best thing I have ever heard ngl
Me personally I think it's more the bends vibes
it kinda reminds me of exit music
id kill for instrumentals of your covers theyre so nice
I didn't expect this to sound so close to the original but so unique at the same time. Best negative harmony cover I've heard yet.

I love your actual covers so much, your voice is absolutely beautiful! Very nice to listen to
this is what a song sounds like after you listen to it all night when you sleep
How is it even sadder and also that guitar riff on this is just perfection i need to know how to play negative harmonh no surprises
Main riff: Cm / EbM7 / Bb6 / Fm / Cm. Enjoy!

It's giving Beach Boys on downers

Radiohead mostly use Major chords despite having a reputation for being a 'sad' band, which is why negative harmony covers are even sadder
I love these negative harmony songs and was wondering which song you'd do next. Love the song choice! Keep going!
