@@nav1pi983 hope you are working your way back to being sober it’s been hard for me and I’m going crazy thinking about drinking but these videos literally help me hold off today from drinking because I really wanted that drink but hearing people talk about the struggle makes me feel that I can do this. As long as you feel that you want to quit and work on it a day at a time that’s all you can do.

I can never trust myself once i start drinking. I started doing coke with my friend who found a good connection about a year ago. So every weekend we would go through countless beers and drinking alcohol straight while going through bag after bag of cocaine. I would wake up wishing i was dead! The depression and heaviness was almost too much to bear. If i was sober and you put a line in front of my face i would be like Hell No! Alcohol makes me think i could drive my car when i am completely out of my mind drunk! Every bad thing that has ever happened to me happened to me because i was drinking! Every one!!!

Day 9 sober after a "relapse" of drinking 4 beers, at lunch with my dad. I wanted to prove to myself that I can drink moderately. I think I can but what's the point? I would've had a great time with my dad even if I drank iced tea. It just further proved that total sobriety is possible for me, and that's what's up. I like revisiting these videos to reignite my passion to stay on course. Thanks Tim

I spent my youth being a clown, being the 'crazy guy' but it was always me self-deprecating my true self for the entertainment of others. And in the end no one cares, no one remembers you or respects you anymore. At best they remember me for being a joke or a clown. Fu*k that right off. Time to have some self-respect.

I watched another UA-cam sobriety video of another creator and he mentioned the boredom, the apathy, the lack of finding joy in things you used to; those are actually attributed to brain chemical changes that occurred drinking alcohol. And since the alcohol isn’t there anymore, our brain hasn’t yet adjusted to creating those chemicals itself, but it does eventually, which is why the apathy lifts 🙏🏻

Introvert. Exactly. Love every one of your videos. So much more helpful than AA meetings. So insightful, articulately-executed material. It's just so helpful listening to someone who has been there and accepts that IT'S A PROCESS. The reason I left meetings, etc is because they kept telling me I'll never change. I found that stifling and redundant. It felt old and stale. I could watch your videos every day and I get SO MUCH more inspiration to continue my sobriety journey because they give me hope and reassurance that, even when I stumble, I am going to get back up and be alright. Freedom...

AA can feel like a cult and then you have to deal with the people that can't articulate a thought and ramble on and on. I personally can't stand them most of the time, but a good speaker's meeting can be awesome. Best of luck to you.

My battle for sobriety wasn't as much as an issue for some, thankfully. I already do so many things sober that I didn't have big fights with sobriety.
In fact I save way more money.
I don't disrespecting myself and my body.
I'm way more alert, cautious, aware, vigilant.
I don't look like an idiot when I socialize.
I avoid negative situations..like stated in the video, being trashed just leads to negative actions. Very rarely does it lead to anything positive.
It can be annoying be the only sober person, in that too many people try to pressure me into drinking. They think it's not a big deal, when in fact, it is. Are you going to be responsible for me when I get trashed? I can't stand when people try to pressure me into drinking.
I don't like to sound holier than thou as a sober person; but I really think if you have a drinking problem or even drink more than you should, consider getting sober. It's absolutely possible to get high off of life, having control of yourself and respecting your body.

Drinking stopped being fun...stopped getting a buzz. Went straight from first sip warm fuzzy feeling to sleepy. Just started being a way call myself "relaxing" and to go to sleep. Bottle of wine a night. Easy. Just an expensive habit that I was not even enjoying. The pandemic made me REALLY see how much I was drinking, with grocery shopping every three weeks and the calculations I would be making in the wine aisle (how many bottles do I need to cover three weeks? Woah, HOW MUCH IS THAT GONNA COST??? - Cuz I liked NICE wine, LOL) So, i stopped. I called myself stopping for a while. Then my birthday passed sober. Then it was 30 days, then it was 60 days, then it was 90 days...and i'mma just keep going and see. I don't miss it and am thankful. #ODAT ~Peace

Some think they're gurus, others want to sell you a course. Some are kids that had a problem for a year or two, etc. I have watched 5 of your videos so far, and I catch myself nodding my head the whole time you are talking. Everything you say is so true, so I know you must have been a " Professional Drunk" before you quit. I don't even want to say how much and how long I have been drinking EVERY DAY, but I would say my "Check Liver" Light has been on for a long time. Keep making them videos man. Though when I do get comfortable enough with someone/a group, I can get goofy and fun to be around, never need nor use alcohol or anything to do it, but socializing is draining.
