Hello Sir.... Sir I have one doubt regarding digoxin... Digoxin inhibits NaKATPase and causes increased cytosolic Ca concentration and useful in management of CCF. Due to improved blood circulation and improved blood supply to kidney digoxin produces diuretic action also.... But Sir on the basolateral membrane of nephrons there are also these NaKATPase is present at DT.... So can digoxin inhibit these NaKATPase also and cause rise in cytosolic level of Na and mediates failure of NaCloride symport and thus can digoxin causes diuresis ??? Plz guide Sir ji....

It increase only force of contraction. Listen to the mechanism again. If duration of systole decrease it means heart is contracting quickly and thus more forcefully. However duration of diastole increase so heart rate doesn't increase

Why hypocalcemia? This is too small amount of Calcium as compared to total in the body

Why means? It competes with K binding site on the pump
