Simple and best presentation sir. Sir In some presentation I found that high dose of aspirin can increase excretion of uric acid. Is it true if yes then what is the mechanism?
Yes by inhibiting the reabsorption of uric acid from renal tubules. But that occurs at unacceptably high doses which are not tolerable. So for practical purposes, aspirin can be assumed to cause hyperuricemia at therapeutic doses

Awesome Video Sir ...Sir plz extremely request you plz sir make a video complete explanation video on Antibiotics Topic ...All Antimicrobial Drugs. Sir plz 🙏
In acute gout, there is inflammation of joints means permeability is already increased. If the change serum uric acid levels (by allopurinol or any other drug), the concentration gradient of uric acid is created between tissues and blood. Thus movement of uric acid starts. So, it can enter joints also, as the doors are open (increased permeability). So more precipitation, more risk of acute gout
It's unfortunately that I got to know about Your UA-cam Channel this late!! Sir!! I already like pharmacology but now Truly Fall in Love with it!! Thank You Sir!
Paracetamol not used because it has no anti inflammatory effect. Aspirin not used because it itself causes hyperuricemia. Colcichine is never used because it shows diarrhoea and myopathy as most common side effects

Can u explain why allopurinol causes acute gout as side effect
In acute gout, there is inflammation of joints means permeability is already increased. If the change serum uric acid levels (by allopurinol or any other drug), the concentration gradient of uric acid is created between tissues and blood. Thus movement of uric acid starts. So, it can enter joints also, as the doors are open (increased permeability). So more precipitation, more risk of acute gout
