Gents - what of using a white slate at various depths? I've tried but at depths more than 10M, it tends to fail. Nikon D850 has the capability to take 6 white balance values when shooting against the slate. I've been told that I really should overexpose the WB calibration shot. Curious your/others' thoughts. I'm struggling to calibrate deeper. (and I'm new to trying to "up my game" as a photo-hobbyist)
This is great! Never thought about setting WB according to strobe output; so I checked my instruction manuals, and Eureka! Small give this a go next week.
