If you're currently trying to install these on an x3 x rs ignore the bs about positioning these to the rear of the suspension. It MUST be clocked to the forward side of the shock to fit and not have clearance issues. This will additional eliminate the impossibility of being able to tighten on side of the clamp because your shock reservoir is in the way.
So speaking from experience, it’s not so easy when the shock bodies are turned inward. Unless I did something wrong. The resi blocks the access to the Allen bolts on the clamp. I eventually got it, but I had to trim the rear plastic to be able to turn the clamp enough to get at the bolts. Love the product now that it’s installed!
Yes, it is hard to reach the allen bolts unless you have a socket swivel version of the allen key! We also found mounting the clamps is easier if you remove the shock (just make sure it's angled properly).
Shock Therapy llc it’s been a few weeks now and have got some real world use out of these straps. Must say that I really love them. They do exactly what you’d expect and they look cool too! Looking forward to future products from you guys! Specifically the billet steering rack for the x3
Why isn’t anyone mentioning the rigid lights in the wheel well!!! More info please! ps, will be ordering these for my xrs, great looking product and an excellent video
My straps are on the front side. Could not get the bilet holder on the rear. Does this matter. I assume it's fine because your DS X3 video are in the front.
I've got a '23 64 DS Turbo and I can't put the lower bolts in so the spacer is in the rear, comes in contact with one of my tie rods. Or is something incorrect?
Gustavo, you do have to move the reservoir out or you won't be able to tighten the collar around the shock. With the reservoir on the inside there is not enough room to get a hex key in between the reservoir and the collar. I'm going through this right now. Its a pia because now I have to cut my plastics to clear the reservoir under full compression.
@@ShockTherapyllc I have X3 xrs. Shocks reservoirs are facing to the inside. When I tried to fit them on the back side of the shock I could get my tools to thighten the screws. Can you please tell me how to install them facing the rear of the shock.
@@ShockTherapyllc please elaborate on why the straps should not be orientated to the forward side of the front shock? When I bought my unit the previous owner installed ST straps in the forward position, so I would like to know the reason why I should reinstall them to the rearward side.
@@nvricochet some models with some accessories have clearance issues with a front mounted strap. If it clears on your UTV it’s fine. We just say put them on the rear because that works for every model with every accessory.

@Alijah Franklin Lately I have been using flixzone. You can find it by googling =)
@Thatcher Theodore yup, have been watching on FlixZone for since march myself :D
@Thatcher Theodore Thank you, I went there and it seems like a nice service :D I appreciate it!!
@Alijah Franklin Glad I could help =)
Will this kit work with a can x3 xrs turbo r with a 3 inch spacer lift on the shocks?
Yes as long as you have 1.5” room at the top of the shock fir the clamp. 👍
I have 72" xrc with the fox tune for the shocks, the clamps dont get up to the end of the shock, I have to leave it like 1 inch down. will it work ?
As long as you can adjust the straps short enough to holt the shock from extending all the way then your good.
do you have to move ur shock outward (reservoir) out ???
Gustavo Gallegos no sir. Works both ways

Somethings have changed since they did this video there is no O ring anymore and you reuse the bottom stock nut on the supplied new bolt and spacer.
Thank you fir the heads up. We will edit this video. 🤘🏻
I never got the O rings🤬
I didn’t either? What you do?
