Sanitizers are 70% alcohol tho. Ethanol will evaporate and is not absorbed into the skin.
Yup that's a fair point sis. I'll need to look more into it. As far as i've read, cosmetic and makeup products are a luxury whereas sanitisers are a necessity.
Also, I've come across this study of ethanol being absorbed by the skin and i to the blood. Although the absorption is below levels of intoxication, I would still try to avoid it in makeup products because we have a choice of products without it.

You're right sis it does evaporate, I've heard of it too. But apparently a small percentage of it also gets absorbed according to that study. In Shaa Allah i'll look into it further💖💖

Sis I have one doubt. Applying henna is halal. But applying avri(Indigo powder(it's a natural leaf powder)) is haram or halal. Henna gives us orange colour, indigo gives black colour. Can you plse clear me this sis.
That's a very good question sis. As far as I know, indigo is used for hair dye and is also in the hadith. Here's the hadith for reference 👇🏼
Narrated Anas:
(the servant of the Prophet) When the Prophet (ﷺ) arrived (at Medina), there was not a single companion of the Prophet (ﷺ) who had grey and black hair except Abu Bakr, and he dyed his hair with Henna' and Katam (i.e. plants used for dying hair).

Also, my understanding is that indigo gives a dark blue colour and not black? Correct me if I'm wrong. But based on these, I believe that indigo is not haram but Allah knows best and please do confirm this with a scholar in Shaa Allah 💖

Yes sis, personally i believe there's nothing wrong with artificial nails❤️ however, our wudu won't happen with fake nails. So best to use it when we aren't praying or when we finish praying in Shaa Allah 😇

Are fish derived products halal? As for Cerave, they use fish and insects in their products. But as far as I know their face wash does not contain insect derived. So can I use it? Also how'd I know which products contain insect derived? except for carmine and cochineal.
Good question! I believe fish derived products should be halal since everything from the sea is believed to be halal (excluding amphibians and reptiles). 💖
The only insect derived ingredients are the ones you've mentioned already. But it seems like there's another ingredient called Shellac/Resinous Glaze that's derived from insect excretion. Other than those, I don't think we have to look out for anything more. But best to check with the company by asking them if they're halal-friendly 😁💖 and Allah knows best 🌻

Perfumes usually have 'Denatured Alcohol' in their ingredients. This is again, no longer the same haram alcohol in its consummable form. It has lost it's natural properties and becomes 'denatured'.
Therefore it is allowed as we only need to stay away from the real and natural alcohol. 😇
