Feliz cumpleanos Simon 🎉 What a fantastic day of finds for you, TRIPLE silver 🤩🤩🤩. That silver decorated piece is lovely - perhaps part of a bracelet? Also did you find out what age the large lead horse piece could be? So pleased for you 👏👏👏
I think is because it was an important place for trading with Europe , Netherlands, Belgium, France, Denmark…textiles too, Dundee had an important industry too
@@thespanishdetectorist Yes but how did the bags and the seals end up in so many fields? Surely they would have been close to the mills or near the Post Office? They turn up in some very rural areas, far from these industries.
@@TheInternationalist01apparently these big bags were reused by farmers for containing potatoes, manure, etc and those bag seals probably lost in the middle of the bags. Also households threw away many things for manure, so eventually everything ended on the fields🤪

You're in a good spot Simone. You can't catch fish if there's none there nor coins either. Great day for you. Curious as to what the large silver is.

¿Why are there so many lead bag seals and flax seals in the fields of Fife (?). ?
