Jimli, i went to the holiday inn express in michigan when i was little, it had a otis series , with no mod

Nice elevator, and I wonder why they went with such a strange capacity (2700#) instead of 3000#. But the motor sounds really nice, and it sure is interesting that Otis still makes dry power units.

Sam Potter It depends on how the motor sounds. I can tell which pitch it is on certain ones, but the ones that I don't know is determined by an app that shows the pitches.

The hotel indigo has the same kind of elevators but with regular buttons instead of vandal resistant buttons
After when Andrew pressed number one then he pressed door close button and it worked going down but not going up to 2 though. When he said "I'll let the elevator speak for itself" then he pressed number 3 and when he did that then the door closed when he pressed the button which I liked that

that a very nice Otis elevator I really love elevator myself I find them. very cool anyways I have a question for the elevator community is there a way I can get elevator parts I want to start a collection of elevator buttions and stuff do I have to go online and look can I talk to a building that replacing thier elevator to give me the old parts if there a way I can get parts let me know because I want to start an elevator museum like dieselducy has so if you can help me out that would be great thank you and have a good day

I saw a talking Series 7 Otis at Terminal C at Logan Airport
MegaZeldafan1 I don't think you will understand this but Otis doesn't have a Series 7. Just letting you know in case if you understand. Series 7s don't exist. Those fixtures they have in this elevator are Series M2. The actual term are Newer Series 2 (Surface Mounted Panel), Newer Series 4 (Flush Mounted Panel). Series M2s are for Modernized Otis Models with Acme indicators. Just saying No such thing as Series 7.

427 Elevating Productions They don't. Some Elevator Enthusiasts did back then called them Series 7 until they realized and investigated with the Otis Elevator Company and Elevator Friends that they are newer Series 2/4. Series 7 is discontinued and proposed model replaced with those Newer Series 2/4. Series M2s are for modernizations. Newer Series 2s/4s machines are Hydrofits, Gen2 MRL, Hydraulic, Traction and especially High Rise as well.
I hope when they DO release Series 7 the buttons come in concave

DieselDucy No it must have been an original Otis or original brand because this is Series M2 (modernized Otis Series elevator).
Yeah, this is a mod due to the indicator. Which is common on the Series M2 panels.
