Thankyou Adele This is very helpful and an excellent tool to use in our art practice. So much fun can be had in mixing up new colour combinations and putting them on binder rings for their correct colour value. I appreciate your lessons very much and plan to join your academy in the new year. I am moving in Dec, so can then set up a new art space and resume my art practice ❤🙏
I follow you sometimes, and I want to let you know that in my art school which I frequent in NY , P.I. Art Center, my teacher of abstract art started the lesson with one of your videos. I am an adult and I go to this school in order to keep my visa as a student and be legal in the USA. I told her that I know your videos very well. So, also art teachers appreciate your teaching.
Bonjour Adèle, Réellement intéressant👍, vous êtes au top 👌! J’ai déjà visionné plusieurs de vos vidéos & j’avoue que j’adore tout ce que vous faites. Continuez pour notre plus grand plaisir. So grateful 🙏😊, from France. Nathalie 🎨
I love this Adele. I thought you were going to use hardware store paint swatches. Even better, you made your own. I’ve struggled with values when I do anything other than monochromatic work. As soon as I bring in more colours I get confused. I do take photos of my work and look at them in black and white which helps. I’m definitely going to play this game regularly. Knowing the values needs to be more instinctive for me and this game is how to do it. Thank you!
Hi Adele! I am going to sign up to your membership! I have a question on something I wonder if u can cover? How do u choose a palette scheme for a painting? I know to keep it simple, to mix colours into each other to keep them kinda matching, but I feel so overwhelmed by all the tutorials I watch I just don't know where to start? Do i pick a red blue and yellow and mix up my comes from them, do I pick a reference photo whose colours match, do I start with a colour I love and then match from there? And when I pick them do I then change them slightly according to ensure I have the right values scheme? Or is anyone of those right?? So confused!!
Also cant you look through a coloured filter ? Like a red plastic or yellow . It seems I have a colour Fan Deck that came with clear plastic filters to look through to judge your colours there may have been a red yellow and blue

I love it! But I would have to write on the back right away or somewhere what colors I used or I would forget!! 😂
I forget as well, that’s why I write the colors on the back.
Hi Adèle ,
Very convenient but ... where are the reds?
I didn’t choose any reds for this but have for many others.
I really find it ( red) the most difficult colour in termes of values.
@@denisem.883 I would recommend that you try out this game with just a variety of reds and see what you come up with.
Fun & easy peasy...BUT when do you identify what colors you mixed to get the color that shows on the front?
I do triangular color charts to keep track of how I am mixing the paint and what value they come out.
Also cant you look through a coloured filter ? Like a red plastic or yellow . It seems I have a colour Fan Deck that came with clear plastic filters to look through to judge your colours there may have been a red yellow and blue
You sure can! That sounds like fun.
